“Most of the time, huh. Interesting choice in words.” She slid them a cup of tea. “Still, i’m glad to have met another human. It’s refreshing. Sort of.” Not that there was anything wrong with the local races at all. The opposite in fact. They were all incredibly fascinating in their own right. The fact this system housed such a diverse amount of intelligent life was almost unheard of.

“From my observations this world has been quite… pleasant to say the least. I don’t think I’ve ever been somewhere so care free and laid back, which makes me very curious about when it’s not like that as you put it.” Very curious indeed. She took a calm sip of her own tea, having said her piece. 

“Mm... Truth be told, It’s got to be a good few years since I’ve encountered another human. “Refreshing” wouldn’t be how I would word it. Don’t know how I’d word it exactly, honestly.”

A small, calm sip of tea. The fact that she’d seemingly found another “confirmed” human had almost sent her into slight panic. How worrying.

“Who… what… what would you even burn an effigy of? Who would ya hate that much, anyway? I mean, that’s kinda important to figure out first ‘cause if it’s someone who can beat you up and might see the thing burnin’, don’t do it!”

Good lord.

“Usually it would just be an effigy of an unspecified person. Nothing too decorative or fancy. Probably just a relatively small, simple, quick creation made out of hay or something along those lines. I don’t hate anyone with such a passion to conjure up an effigy to burn of them.”

Surprisingly enough, they were only £15 each. I was tempted to ask the seller if they had any PAL versions so I had an excuse to dig up my old Nintendo 64 & play it. Don’t quite fancy spending abajillion pounds on one of those fancy adaptors that let me play any region games.

Yuna then turned on her toes and pretty much skipped away. A very tired and wobbly skip, but she seemed to be sure enough of herself to make the trip successfully. And then she stopped and turned around after only a few steps to face Adeleine again, forgetting something rather crucial.

“Oh yeah. What flavour do you like?”

A small huff. Painter still didn’t feel all too comfortable with the other girl wondering off on her own given she was still in such a ditsy and wobbly state. Especially since it was seemingly for Adeleine’s own sake. All she could hope for was that Yuna didn’t walk into any walls or anything like that.

Surprise!! Sunflowers were the last thing Adeleine would’ve expected to get gifted. She was more curious on where this person had received such flowers at this time of year, in all honesty. Not that she was complaining, of course.

Both the newfound sketchbook and paintbrush were given a good thorough look through before rushing off to get some paint to put them to good use!! Artist’s got to make sure her new tools are certainly brand new and don’t have anything hidden within them!!

!!! That’s it!! its the hair!! The hair seems to gain a new length & appearance for some bizarre reason?? She’ll always have short hair, though. Ignore this strange, longness. Got to do a proper ref for her at some point.
