October Newsletter
Hello, my lovelies!
It appears I've gotten caught up with work and forgotten about my newsletters *again.* Not to worry, I've now got a reminder in my calendar, to remind me what I need to be working on. The last couple of months have been busy, busy. We here at Painted Luck Designs have been working at almost a frenetic pace to get ready for Santa Fe Comic Con, which is less than a month away! We'll have several things on display at our table that aren't yet listed in our Etsy shop, as well as a Super Secret Design that will be revealed at Con. I'll be modeling it myself! So you should totally stop by and see, because it's super cool. I'm really excited about it!
Toward the end of being able to work more fluidly, we did take a week off of fiber arts to set up an office, where work can happen without (much) interruption, and we now even have an official work schedule! I'm not going to lie, having my own work space has been really awesome, and it's made me much more productive. Plus, having all of the tools and materials we need in one place, and organized, is definitely helping work go much more smoothly. No more frantically running back and forth hunting for that skein of yarn "that was just here! I know it was!"
We've also been picking up more work with designer Linda Lehman (I seriously cannot gush about her designs enough). Right now, we're only doing about one project for her per month, but we'll probably start accepting more from her after Con, when we won't be quite so busy panicking about Con. Did I mention that's less than a month away? Augh! I'll get everything we have finished listed in our Etsy shop shortly after Con, but right now my priority is definitely getting everything finalized and ready for display, so pictures have taken a bit of a back seat for now.
Well, that's all I've got for the time being. I'm looking forward to seeing you all at Con!
