Well today was my last day as a working student until I take my year off and I'm definitely sad it's over. It was a lot of early mornings, late afternoons, hard work, and hot weather but I loved every minute. It's amazing how much you can learn in one summer and I definitely loved having opportunity to learn from Steve Heinecke. I can not thank him enough for teaching me more about horse care, horse health, riding and running a business. I loved learning all of our horses quirks. It's truly amazing how much you can learn from a horse when you spend all day everyday with them. Finally, thank you Morgan and Migel for being the best coworkers. Together we were able to conquer everyday no matter how hot or how long. Thank you for picking up my slack when I broke my foot and for feeding me more caffeine if I got cranky at the shows.
