I have a theory/prediction for Deltarune. So we all know the next chapter is gonna take place at Asgore’s, right? It’s gonna be a bunch of flowers there, probably a kingdom of it or a huge castle. Idk what’s gonna happen there but I have a theory that the secret boss will be a returning character or at least a version of that character…. Flowey.

Hear me out, a version of Flowey that appears as a secret boss and/or holder of the shadow mantle. Like his counterpart, he is friendly at first, but it’s all a facade to get what he wants. So you know how Kris and Susie had their own little bosses that were only for them? Kris had ERAM in Ch3, Susie had Gerson in Ch4, what if Ralsei has Flowey in Ch5? His whole thing could be making Ralesi not only more independent, but less nice.

The bosses have this whole theme about freedom and free-will and how each of them tackle it. Jevil is “Choices don’t matter so I can do anything”, Spamton is “Choices don’t matter so I must be something”, Ramb is “Choices don’t matter so I must make the best of it” and Gerson is “Choices don’t matter but that’s bullshit also I’m old!” Flowey could be “Choices don’t matter so people don’t matter either.” Since your choices don’t matter, what you do to others and your consequences don’t matter. What’s done is done. Who you’ve hurt can’t be unhurt. Go stupid. Go crazy. And then that contrasts with Ralsei who knows choices don’t matter but what you do to others does.
