My favorite companion is Clara but Amy and Rory are defo up there but icl I had a bit of a crush on Amy so idk how much I'm biased towards especially early Rory. Late Rory was so cool though and it's like one of my favorite favorite things ever when we see that the doctor's companions are dangerous because otherwise icl it always seems like the doctor doesn't live up to his reputation

I liked thinking through the impossible girl but i agree a companion that is equally matched to the doctor is always so amazing to see-

while all of the companions know how to put him in his place i feel they all let their soft spots for the doctor limit them from really pushing against him wheras clara does it so well she is genuinely such a good companion
