“If you keep up any sort of contact, you might be facing a pounding headache in about 10 seconds, from having the back of your head slammed into the floor at a reasonably high velocity.” By now, she was done going along with the boys little teasing, and knew Arslan would be highly disappointed if she’d just keep the strongest close-range fighter of Team SSSN occupied and left no challenge to her.At least if she’d knock the wind out of him, she knew Arslan would respect that, despite still being annoyed. But she was sure to give Sun the best attampt at a twisted smile back. She then counted down at a reasonable pace, giving the boy plenty of time to avoid what he otherwise would have coming to him. After all, with a semblance like hers, leverage didn’t exactly matter in this situation.
Sun considered this, not very seriously as he laughs. He decides to change his position and lifts himself up to fold his arms over his chest as he straddles her on his knees with a smirk. “Pssh, like you could~. Try it, Reese. I dare ya.” He taps her nose with his nail to be an extra nuisance and waits for her countdown to finish.
A more gentle smile now sweeping across her lips, she reaches 0 in her countdown. “Let the records show, you asked for this.” She closes her eyes for a second, takes a deep breath, before utilizing her semblance to the best of her own abilities. It really worked better as a passive tool, but there was little choice here. Her semblance would feel very much like an outside force pulling Sun backwards with quite some force, but without a single place of attack. Just like his entire back, shoulders, and head were being pushed backwards and to the ground. At the same time, Reese rose back to her feet with the same involuntary motion.
“ ‘I told you so’ just doesn’t quite cut it.” She shakes her head a little, but makes sure to also quickly hop out of his reach. No need to get too cocky, she just had a great example of where that one could lead.
