I'm really happy I'm finally able to share this piece I did for the @hsanthologies Tarot deck!

you don’t understand i’m crazy abt him. his design is perfect like the use of primary colors w the hint of white. the cartoon style they use for him works so well since he doesn’t have any expressions they have to make him emote thru poses and gestures alone and even tho he lacks a face u can tell exactly what his personality is. he’s your bestie. he’s the most corporate thing in the world. he’s the only being here i trust

and the cool thing is while he looks cartoony in the illustration style in the 3d renders he looks downright eerie. like u know that thing where movie studios do the whole “cartoon character brought into the real world” but it looks so uncanny because they weren’t meant to be perceived in 3d and were only designed for 2d? yeah this is what’s happening here but like in a good way. the effects for him in this advert are so good

to further prove my point look at the shots where he interacts with people. it rlly pushes the feeling that this guy is from another dimension like he looks so out of place from them and in his environment (the store) at the same time, and that sort of disconnect SO goes well with the theme of fucky dimensions happening throughout the place
