When you woke up, your book wasn’t in your hand and you were tucked into your bed, your phone plugged in and your window shut tight. With a frown you leaned up and moved your hand blindly onto your side table, your fingers feeling around to grab your phone but instead catching into a piece of paper.

Spider-Man left you a note.

You smiled a little at the note, shaking your head as you set it down next to your book. He had definitely thrown an extra blanket over you and made sure your book was bookmarked, and you were pretty sure your phone hadn’t been plugged in either.

For once, your emotions felt nice - you couldn’t feel that underlying pain or guilt from Peter, but you knew it wouldn’t last long.

Your phone buzzed and you frowned, grabbing it and reading a text from Betty asking if you wanted to grab dinner with her and Ned. You quickly responded with an “of course!”, realizing how late it was and deciding to get ready. But another two texts from earlier caught your eye, and you tensed when you realized it was a response from Peter.

thanks for checking on me last night, sorry I didn’t respond right away

I guess I fell back asleep. or something

okay I know you don’t want to talk but I really think we should. please?

The text was in your thoughts all day, but you couldn’t bring yourself to respond.

SUMMARY: y/n stark is really not here for this european school vacay because in this post-endgame world, she’s mourning the loss of her dad. but one (1) sticky boi peter parker is just trying to be the friend he once was while also trying not to flirt too much because if she rejects him (which she wouldn’t, not that he knows that) while they’re in venice holy hell he’ll just pitch himself off the gondola right then and there.

basically, y/n has been distancing herself & peter misses her & this school trip is a great way for him to coax her back into the real world & y/n really loves peter but is super sensitive and scared to lose him & also mysterio shows up at some point ugh  @ nick fury leave ned leeds alone

PROLOGUE 

the beginning: peter stops by the compound with a proposal for y/n to join their class in europe, happy steals y/n’s clothes, & harry osborn is a verified hottie 

VENICE

Pt. 1 - y/n ships betty and ned real hard, peter kisses one (1) girl, and y/n finds out flash can speak italian

Pt. 2 - a huge water creature attacks, y/n takes a swim, & peter makes a new friend while y/n steals a boat

Pt. 3 - peter nerds out about aliens, flash gets laid out in a train station, & y/n steals wine on a plane 

PRAGUE

Pt. 1 - peter pulls out the ol’ glasses, ned gets his groove on at da club, and y/n finds herself thirsty for one (1) pining  & suave harry osborn 

Pt. 2 - mj proves herself to be coolest human #1, y/n & peter get emotional over dumplings, & flash starts a tipsy game of truth or dare

Pt. 3 - y/n breaks into s.h.i.e.l.d., peter is forced to start a prank war, and ned leeds loves carnivals 

LONDON

Pt. 1 - peter decides to devote himself to mj, y/n makes a secret deal with nick fury, and honestly harry osborn just keeps getting hotter

Pt. 2 - y/n makes a huge decision about her senior year, peter gets an suit upgrade & happy is terrible at reading the room 

Pt. 3 - mysterio thinks he owns the place, y/n makes a sacrifice, & peter learns a thing or two about loss while mj has a superhero moment

EPILOGUE

the end: y/n & mj swap lasagna recipes, college is quite a time to be alive, & no one warned peter about how annoying teenagers are
