We found a hedgehog a while ago, that looked weird & in distress in the bright light of the day. We brought him to the vet and nursed him at home but he died quickly in the hour following anyways- being poisoned. This little creature doesn't get the attention it deserves, and it's a disappearing specie.Hedgehogs suffered  a lot when country hedges were ripped out and people started to add poison for slugs in their garden. Please if you own a garden or know someone who does, get yourself informed, hedgehog are important, preserves them. Try and do little hedgehog gates in your fences and allow wild little corners where they can roam free, and most of all stop using poisonous pellets, there are dangerous not only for hedgehogs but for everyone. There are a big number of rescue/advices about hedgehogs go ahead and have a look :)
