Week #3 of aquarium blog until shooting at the sun with firearms is legalized in europe

The growth on the tops parts of the ludwigia (red middle plant) is insane. I didn’t cut it this week because I’m waiting for the cut stems (that’s where I took the tops from) to grow new leaves.

The limnophila (green in the back left) is also growing super well and the aquarium is starting to look less bald

I found ramhorn snails in my aquarium. Which I’m not mad about because the heatwave is doubling my algae growth rate. I have to scrub the aquarium every day or it’ll be everywhere.

Figuring out my light might not be strong enough to get my plants purple and red but that’s fine I don’t rlly care

I’m really happy with how much growth I’m getting from all the plants!! Hopefully I can get shrimp in the next month.

Week #2 of aquarium blog until I marry a 8’ beautiful queen in drag and we get a farm and 10 horses (all of them are secretly unicorns)

the aquarium got massively overgrown by the Ludwigia so I trimmed it and replanted the tops (unfortunately I forgot to take a photo before the trim). Every plant is growing new leaves yayyyy

I’m getting a bit of algae but it’s not overtaking the tank and I make sure to manually pick up any algae I see every day

this is from the 13th of July!! All the plants here had been planted for 1 week except limnophila aromatica, which I planted that day all the way in the back in the left corner
