Week #2 of aquarium blog until I marry a 8’ beautiful queen in drag and we get a farm and 10 horses (all of them are secretly unicorns)
the aquarium got massively overgrown by the Ludwigia so I trimmed it and replanted the tops (unfortunately I forgot to take a photo before the trim). Every plant is growing new leaves yayyyy
I’m getting a bit of algae but it’s not overtaking the tank and I make sure to manually pick up any algae I see every day
bonus photo of me cleaning the filter for the first time since getting the plants 😠(used and new filtration media for comparison. Nah I didn’t replace it I like my sponges demonically dirty)
Aquarium diary until I stop being anxious of posting on my own blogs week #1
this is from the 13th of July!! All the plants here had been planted for 1 week except limnophila aromatica, which I planted that day all the way in the back in the left corner
For any nerds here is a list of all my pretties in here:
Anubias (bottom left, my absolute goat)
Cryptocoryne (bottom right, not clue what species this is)
Hygrophila (?? I was given it as a gift, no clue where I’m gonna put it)
Limnophila aromatica (back bottom left, hoping it does well)
Ludwigia (center, it’s doing really well)
Microsorium trident (top left, treating it for hair algae)
Mystery plant in the middle of my limnophilas?
Bonus Ludwigia I bought it completely green and it’s already turning red yay :D
next is on the 20th cuz that’s when water change
