Comments like these keep me going. There are TONS of times when I just get so tired and broken down that I wanna just give up. Then a certain comment, email, or a fbook message (similar to this one) , pops up in my memory that someone sent me. Telling me how much impact I have on their lives, or how much they look up to me, or even how much of an inspiration I am to them, just by doing what I do everyday ---> living & battling sickle cell. Little ol' me! So when I get down to my lowest of lows in my head I always hear "They're watching you Kee, give them something to see" . I woke up feeling like ugh 😣 , then @prettyredki came over to cheer me up ☺️! She came over just like a black person, she got her oxygen tank in here 😂😂 , took my table for her tray of food she brought , and just eating in my face and I ain't had no food (I got into it with the food girl yesterday, she ain't bring a G a tray 😂😂😭😭) in my tummy allll day and it's almost 4 PM 😒. After I took my braids out I was mad distressed and wanted to chop all my hair off 💇 (sickle cell meds made my hair fall out drastically, really really bad!) , Shit looked like Sealey off "The Color Purple" 😕.
