( Prince Marth ):
There was a brief huff of surprise as she initiated an embrace despite his own restraint - embrace that he gladly returned, arms holding her perhaps a tad more tightly than should be dignified. He breathed her presence in, then out as they both let go. Yes, it was awfully good to see her again.
“That is correct,” he confirmed, not indifferent to her unbridled enthusiasm. A very welcomed response, as he was used to speaking of his engagement as if it were bad news. “Perhaps you remember Ike, the legendary Radiant Hero. We have gotten engaged last autumn’s passing.”
It was his turn to throw his hopeful gaze upon her. Despite it being still unready and for an unknown date, he dearly wanted her to attend the wedding. “I… hope you will accept my most friendly, sincere invitation.”
Arms return to her sides, but she is still radiating a smile at him. News, such as this, should be seen as a blessing. It reminded her that there was still so much in this world. People could still find time in their day to fall in love. To marry.
She gives a quick nod. Though she had known them to be acquainted - or in lover, rather, he was a character she could simply forget. They had DUELED! Perhaps one of the most challenging fights she had tucked away under her belt. She missed him, too. Not as much as she could the hero! But a close second.
“ Really? ”
Lucina had only returned to this world to bestow him her encouragement. Oh but she could stay! Especially for that. A quick nod, and she pinches the edges of her tunic.
“ It would be an honor. When is it? What gift should I get you? I wouldn’t miss it for anything. ”
