💫SLAPS💫
Had fun making these during a recent art night, doodling and chatting with one of my oldest friends. Realizing a lot lately how much socializing is important for creating to me (or even just simple body doubling).
NWI friends - I’ll be live drawing at SLAC’s 16th anniversary opening tomorrow!!! Come hang out and see some cool art
Go to party; only doodle slaps with your oldest friend all night ❤️❤️❤️❤️

1 of 3 postcards for Brassworks Gallery‘s 3rd annual Postcard Show 12/13/25-1/3/2026 in Portland, OR 😀 paint used was Culture Hustle‘s Black 4.0; a challenge on such a small surface, but I wanted to add that super pigmented depth.
Remembering to get actual pictures with my art this time 😮💨 thank you to Fredda for obliging me!
10 bids later, “Get the Balance Right” is off to a new home, with $560 going towards Get to Zero Illinois! The show was a blast - so much fantastic work, and lovely folks.
Thanks again to Art for Life Chicago and DIFFA for throwing this event together, and Amy Kartheiser, Leah Bolger, and Bill Erwin for curating it ❤️
