Impermanence

The Historical Buddha died in India around 2500 years ago! Can Buddha still help us even after death?

Keep me away from the wisdom which does not cry, the philosophy which does not laugh and the greatness which does not bow before children.

I’ve found that growing up means being honest. About what I want. What I need. What I feel. Who I am.

Study me as much as you like, you will never know me. For I differ a hundred ways from what you see me to be.

We must not allow the clock and the calendar to blind us to the fact that each moment of life is a miracle and mystery.

Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let pain make you hate. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness…

“Beyond “high” and “low”, I’m the same Self in all. Beyond “inner” and “outer”, I’m the same Self in all. If there is only the One, I’m the same Self in all; why lament, then, O mind? I’m the same Self in all.”

Stop thinking your way through life, always trying to work it out before living it. Life is to be lived, not analyzed to death. Feel.

Pagan temples are timeworn forests, secluded gardens, sun-kissed seashores and emerald pastures.

To be fully alive, fully human, and completely awake is to be continually thrown out of the nest.
