yan! twisted wonderland 〖dating sim au〗x gn! reader─if you want to hide a tree, hide it in a forest: that was a saying you abided by strictly after transmigrating into twisted wonderland. to avoid the many death flags from the love interests, you decided to join them, becoming the leader of the 'prefect's fan club!'

“Come in, my dear,” Jade beckons you into his room with a hand to his heart, making a show of bowing to you once you enter.
With a giggle, you take his hand and bring your study materials to his room, occupying the familiar spot beside Jade’s chair. Your boyfriend had invited you to study with him before exam week, and it just so happened that he had some time off from the lounge to focus on his own time with you. How sweet.
Setting up his materials on the desk, Jade pulls out a crisp notebook from his shelf. Despite how new it looked, its pages were filled with his neat handwriting all over. Before you could comment on how smart and studious he appeared, a timer set off.
Smiling down to where you are seated, Jade gently tells you that your drink had finished brewing. With a kiss to your hand, your eel leaves you in his room for a moment.
That moment, however, would lead to something quite unexpected…

OH, NO! YOU POOR, UNFORTUNATE SOUL! Well, to sum it up, you have been transmigrated, now you’re in a game. The Once-in-a-Lifetime Chance to Fall in Love with Charming Gentlemen at the Most Prestigious Magic Academy! Catchy, isn't it? Shame it's also a yandere dating simulator, and . . you are not the heroine. You have been banished into the horrible villainess’s body, where you’re forced to watch the brooding men lay destruction to the world just to call the protagonist theirs. It’s a game of death to you. Because every single time, every respawn point, even though you fight so, so hard: you are brutally killed by one of the yanderes. You are not in a game, you are in a time loop of misery where death is nothing if not your beloved acquaintance.
Don’t do it, please don’t kill me, please!
What does it mean to be a villainess?
To you it is simply nothing. It means nothing, it is nothing, and it never will be. It’s a misery you wouldn’t wish upon anyone else, because to watch your fate be guillotined by the hands of the more fortunate is a death sentence in itself. It almost amuses you, to think that you’d once been a normal human, a normal girl, with a normal life and equally, if not somewhat eccentric, friends. Now, your body is nothing but a tomb, a necropolis of ersatz scars and gashes as you’re forced to march forward with executioners waiting to get a taste of you.

Wait, wait, wait, wait!
Those were the last words you uttered in your official, well-deserved, one thousandth loop. In other words, you got killed again. How utterly melodramatic.
Boo, boo, booo! Throw tomatoes! It’s become a lovely little pastime at this point, so much so that if you aren’t dead by the time you reach the Savanaclaw arc, you start questioning things. That’s a brutal, brutal, brutal lens to peer at life with, but it’s become a part of you — the innermost core, if you will. For ever since your arrival, you’ve been subjected to nothing but violence, and that’s not even an exaggeration, is it? You’ve been killed by every method under the sun: strangled, poisoned, impaled, buried alive, straight up eaten, and that's only one of the more PG versions! It’s the curse of the villainess, a character no one truly deigns a glance, yet in spite of the various anomalies the main character faces, their love interests always end up taking their frustration out on you! Poor, old you. It’s ludicrous how you never really get used to it, you just learn to bite back the screams.
Now that you think about it, what was the original game even about? It was the usual type, really, some cheesy excuse of a .zip file you deemed nothing but a cringefest — only playing it for the gorgeous visuals and men, and you’d argue the same goes for anyone who dared touch it. Because in what universe does a yandere game centered around overarching, lovelorn devotion sound good? . . . Apparently yours because you ate it all up and left nothing to interpretation. You can’t blame yourself, the plotline was filthy good for such a low-quality ad and the fandom the size of an atom, don’t put any blame by your feet for wanting to be the first player!
No one ever told you you’d be given a role this horrifying, though.

Wait lemme word that better, sorry, I was taken over by excitement.
Would I be able to request a yandere reader x yandere character trope with Ruggie, Leona, Idia and Malleus? I dont have a particular context to how I want it to play out ttb. I think you write yandere fics rlly well, and I've always loved the yandere x yandere trope, so I'm shooting my shot ᵕ᷄≀ ̠ᵕ᷅
: ̗̀➛ MB, DIDN’T KNOW YOU WAS CHILL LIKE DAT. yan! ruggie, leona, idia, malleus, azul
sometimes you gotta pull out all the stops to make your darling never leave your side, no matter how extreme. you’re prepared for screaming, crying, and begging, but what you really don’t know is your lover is just chill like that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
જ⁀➴ ✉︎ [+ MAY I REQUEST A YANDERE X YANDERE W RUGGIE, IDIA, MALLEUS, LEONA AND AZUL PLS?? (seperate) Context you decide? 😞] oops idk if readers were yan enough in some parts, but this was a nice fit to my chill reader series!
( breaking n entering; idia is a creep godbless 👍; cctvs; kidnapping; shackling; readers are not right in the head; love potions )
The last thing RUGGIE thought he would be coming back to his room to was you stuffing his clothes in a bag. The other last, last thing that Ruggie thought he would be coming back to was you staring at the laundry in his hands, pointing at them, and shamelessly asking if you could have them.
“Did you…?” He doesn’t even know where to start. “Did you just break into Savanaclaw just to steal my clothes?”
“Did you break into my dorm room last night to rub your scent all over my sheets?” You counter, and Ruggie sheepishly looks away. “The answer is yes. Now are you gonna give me those or not?” A bit perplexed at the situation, Ruggie finds himself handing over today’s laundry to you. You look satisfied and begin putting back the clothes you just stole back in their place.
Dazed, Ruggie sits on the edge of his bed to watch you smooth out his clothes and put them on hangers. “So, what…?” He starts. “Y– You like me?”
You turn around and give him an ‘are you stupid?’ look, which he thinks isn’t fair. You were in no position to be looking at him like that when you were the one caught stealing his clothes! “Did it have to take you catching me red-handed to finally realize it? I thought we were doing this in mutual agreement. I thought that you broke in and rolled over my sheets before I came home, and I came here to steal your clothes. I really thought we had something going on.”
He scoffs in perplexed amazement. “Y– You thought that that was just a normal thing we had going on?!”
“Normal, schnormal.” You wave off his incredulity. “Every couple has their own quirks. Ours just so happen to be breaking and entering. No biggie.”
“We’re not a couple!” He exclaims, dumbfounded. He doesn’t realize how eerily still you become mid-hanging. “I only just found out that you’re the one behind all the missing clothes. All this time, I just thought it was some asshole—”
You turn around, a dangerous look in your eye. The grip you had on that hanger was so strong that it was looking less like an appliance and more like a weapon in your hands. “So, you don’t love me?” You ask, deadly low.
Ruggie’s ears flatten, and he quickly shakes his head. “No, boss. Yes, I love you, boss.”
As fast as lightning, your face becomes smug and satisfied as you return to hanging the rest of his stolen clothes. “Good boy. I’ll see you tomorrow morning in the Hall of Mirrors.” You pause. “Or you’re dead.”

Divus Crewel
It was during a routine uniform fitting for a uniform check that Divus Crewel’s meticulous eye caught the anomaly. He had ordered standard extra-small measurements based on Yuu’s student file, but when he went to drape the fabric over the prefect’s shoulders, it swallowed them whole. Crewel frowned, pulling out his measuring tape to manually take their proportions. The skeletal structure, the shoulder span, the bone density indicators—none of it aligned with a sixteen-year-old youth. He stared down at Yuu, his silver-and-black hair catching the light as his voice dropped its usual theatrical flair. "Pup... how old are you, exactly?" When Yuu softly muttered that they were barely twelve and a half, Crewel dropped his measuring tape.
The temperature in the fashion lab plummeted. Crewel’s knuckles turned white around his red-tipped pointer, his eyes flashing with a cold, terrifying fury. An actual fledgling. A child who should still be protected by the highest laws of childcare, forced to act as an unpaid investigator, facing down corrupted, overblotted teenagers while living in a derelict house with a dietary intake that wouldn't sustain a standard domestic cat. Crewel slammed his pointer against his desk, the sound echoing like a gunshot as he snarled about skinning that incompetent, feathered parasite Crowley alive and turning his coat into a rug.
Yuu, terrified that their teacher was about to commit a felony, lunged forward and grabbed the edge of his black-and-white coat. They pleaded with him, digging their heels into the floor and arguing that turning the Headmage into a coat wouldn't fix their living conditions, and that violence never solved anything.
Crewel looked down at the tiny hand clutching his expensive fabric, his breathing ragged as he forced his murderous instincts down. With a sharp, practiced click of his tongue, he lowered his weapon. "Fine. Violence is messy anyway," he hissed, smoothing his lapels. "But that incompetent mutt is officially banned from managing your affairs."
Within an hour, Crewel had completely rewritten Yuu’s life. He confiscated their threadbare hand-me-downs, replacing them with a custom wardrobe heavily woven with protective, warming charms. More importantly, he established a strict, non-negotiable dietary regimen, personally preparing nutrient-packed, gourmet meals in his lab and forcing Yuu to sit and eat them under his watchful, fiercely protective gaze.
Mozus Trein
Trein was a man of strict history, records, and absolute accuracy. He had called Yuu into his office to discuss their performance in Magical History, noticing a slight lag in their reading comprehension of complex, archaic legal terms. As he handed them a foundational textbook, he noticed how much they struggled just to hold the heavy, leather-bound tome. Lucius, his cat, trotted over and sniffed Yuu’s ankles, letting out a sharp, distressed meow that made Trein pause. Lucius only made that sound when an animal or person was severely underweight. Trein pulled out the school's historical ledger of enrollment, comparing Yuu's physical appearance with standard human developmental charts. "Prefect," Trein said, his voice grave. "State your true birth year." The answer they gave made his old heart stop for a beat. Twelve.
Trein’s quill snapped in his hand, black ink splattering across his pristine desk. For a conservative, traditional educator who viewed the protection of youth as a sacred duty, this was a monstrous failure of ethics. Dire Crowley had knowingly brought a middle-school child into a high-level magic academy, neglected their basic human right to proper sustenance, and used them as a shield against deadly magical anomalies. Trein stood up, his posture rigid, his magical energy flaring with a suffocating, ancient pressure that made the loose papers in the room flutter wildly. He grabbed his staff, fully intending to march into the Headmage's office and use the full weight of legal and physical force to strip Crowley of his title and his freedom.
Yuu, seeing the sheer, unyielding wrath of the old professor, threw themselves in front of the door. They looked up at him, begging him to stay, arguing that if he got suspended for attacking Crowley, they would lose the only teacher who actually took their education seriously, and that violence would only disrupt the school further.
Trein stared down at the child through his monocle, his breathing slow and measured. Lucius rubbed against Yuu’s leg, purring softly. With a deep, heavy sigh, Trein lowered his staff. He would spare Crowley the physical thrashing, but the educational and physical neglect would end immediately. Trein took it upon himself to become Yuu's official academic and physical guardian within the school. He arranged for private, manageable tutoring sessions, ordered specialized, easily digestible meals from the faculty lounge to be delivered to Ramshackle daily, and made it explicitly clear to the rest of the staff that Yuu was under his personal protection.
Ashton Vargas
Ashton Vargas took physical fitness and nutrition more seriously than anyone else on campus. He had noticed Yuu lagging during the standard physical training laps, but he had initially chalked it up to their lack of magic. However, during a mandatory body-composition and weight check for the sports curriculum, the scale gave a number that made Vargas wipe his eyes in disbelief. He adjusted the machine, checked the calibration, and ran the numbers again. The muscle mass, bone density, and overall height parameters were completely impossible for a sixteen-year-old child. He looked down at Yuu, his usual booming voice dropping to a rare, serious whisper. "Hey, kid... how old are you really? Don't lie to your coach." When Yuu admitted they were only twelve, Vargas’s jaw dropped.
The realization turned his usual enthusiastic energy into a terrifying, muscle-bound fury. A child. A tiny, twelve-year-old kid was being forced to run errands for a school full of dangerous mages, living on nothing but canned scraps in a moldy building while Crowley pocketed the school's budget. Vargas’s veins bulged in his neck, his fists clenching so hard his knuckles popped like fireworks. He let out a roar of absolute outrage, swearing on his muscles that he was going to throw Crowley over the school roof, drag him through the forest, and use him as a human punching bag until he paid for every single missed meal the kid had suffered.
Yuu, panicked by the sheer physical intimidation of an enraged Vargas, jumped forward and hugged his massive arm, using all their weight to hold him back. They screamed that breaking the Headmage’s ribs wouldn't magically put meat on their bones, and that fighting never solved the root of the problem.
Vargas stopped, looking down at the tiny kid hanging off his bicep like a small monkey. His furious expression softened into a look of deep, protective guilt. He let out a long breath, deflating slightly. He wouldn't punch Crowley into orbit—for now—but Yuu’s physical training was officially canceled, replaced by a rigorous, high-calorie rehabilitation program. Vargas personally took over Yuu's nutrition, supplying them with massive amounts of protein shakes, fresh eggs, and meat from his private reserves. He swore an oath that from that day on, anyone who tried to make Yuu do heavy manual labor would have to answer to his fists first.
Sam
Sam was always smiling, always ready to make a deal, and always aware of what his "friends on the other side" were whispering. But one afternoon, while Yuu was browsing the Mystery Shop for cheap, discounted rations, Sam’s shadow suddenly detached itself from the wall. The shadow hovered over Yuu, whispering back to Sam with a sudden, frantic urgency. Sam’s eyes widened behind his top hat as he listened to the spirits. They weren't sensing the aura of a teenager; they were sensing the fragile, underdeveloped soul of a child who hadn't even hit their growth spurt. Sam walked out from behind the counter, kneeling down to look Yuu directly in the eyes. "Little imp... tell me the truth. How many years have you actually been under the sun?" When Yuu murmured "twelve," Sam’s signature grin vanished completely.
The cheerful, chaotic atmosphere of the Mystery Shop evaporated, replaced by a suffocating, shadowy darkness. The temperature dropped, and the items on the shelves began to rattle as Sam’s magical aura flared with a dangerous, ancient power. Sam loved profit, but he had a strict moral code: you never, ever exploit a child. Crowley had been using a literal baby as a pawn, letting them starve while withholding the basic necessities of life. Sam’s purple eyes glowed in the dim light, his voice dropping into a menacing, low register as he muttered about letting his "friends" drag Crowley into the shadow realm where he would spend eternity paying for his debts in blood.
Yuu, terrified by the supernatural manifestations shaking the shop, grabbed Sam’s coat sleeve and shook their head. They begged him to call off the shadows, pointing out that sending Crowley to the underworld wouldn't fill the shop shelves or help them get home, and that dark magic and revenge only made things worse.
Sam looked at the child’s small, pleading face, the shadows around him slowly retreating back into the corners of the room. He took a deep breath, adjusting his top hat, and his gentle smile returned—though his eyes remained fiercely serious. He wouldn't send Crowley to the abyss, but the Headmage was going to pay through the nose. Sam immediately banned Yuu from ever paying for anything in his shop again. He set up a permanent, unlimited tab for them, stocking a special back-room filled with the best fresh groceries, vitamins, and comfort foods just for Yuu. He made it clear to the entire student body that Yuu was the Mystery Shop's official "little sibling," and anyone who brought trouble to the kid would find themselves completely hexed by every spirit in the valley.
