Life update!
It's been quite some time since I last did anything here. In these years, I've experienced significant personal and academic growth. From achieving my IB Diploma to graduating with a degree in philosophy and theology, and more recently completing a Master's in the history of political thought.
The original purpose of this blog was to serve as a driving force behind my academic pursuits. However, as I reflect on its functionality and the unrealistic standards of 'studying' that had been set, I realise that my goals have been met, and it's time to embrace new perspectives.
While the dream of pursuing a PhD remains intact, I currently find myself unsure of the direction I want to take in my career. Consequently, I have decided to take a break and venture into the real world - I got a job!
Nevertheless, my passion for writing remains. Therefore, I have decided to revamp this blog into a platform for sharing my thoughts and ideas. I doubt anyone remembers this account anymore to be completely fair or is still active on this platform, but I acknowledge that the topics I choose to explore may no longer resonate with the following I've amassed over time and I understand if some of you choose to move on from this space.
Yet, I am genuinely excited about the possibilities this blog holds. I am eager to delve into the realms of humanities, engaging in discussions on broader sociocultural issues that surround it. Utilising my academic credentials, I hope to explore subjects beyond my immediate scholarly responsibilities and contribute to meaningful conversations. I hope this will give me the proper length and agency that my rambles on Twitter have failed to serve me.
I am super excited and I really do hope that I commit to it. Will be updating the blog in the coming days and uploads coming soon!
