ORION KYE 🍑 RECENT INSTAGRAM ACTIVITY (1/?)

INTRODUCE YOURSELF.

“okay.. can i start? okay. mtv, annyeonghaseyo! jeoneun orion-imnida. haha. what’s up, mtv?! my name is orion kye, i’m twenty-two years old, and i am currently an office assistant at my mom’s doctor’s office. both she and my dad are in the medical field, and my grandfather was as well, but he’s retired and moved back to korea by this time. um, i was born and raised in minneapolis, minnesota, and believe it or not, there’ not a whole lot to do out here. surprising, right? yeah. so i’ve spent most of my life making up fun for myself in whichever ways that i could, but it’s mostly consisted of drunken partying and really bad hook-ups. my parents don’t really approve of it, and they especially don’t approve of me getting buck wild on national television, but i’ve promised them once i get home from this, i’ll start thinking about my future. which means… i’m going all out this summer. so get ready, laguna, you ain’t ready for this wild child.”

WHAT’S SOMETHING YOU’RE BRINGING FROM HOME YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT?

“swimsuits! my carry-on bag is stuffed to the brim with swimsuits.”

WHY SO MANY?

“because they’re easy to take off. ha, no i’m just kidding! we don’t have any beaches in dusty minnesota, so i’m ready to show off what i’m working with and start living in these things. and i mean, i look so good in all of them that i couldn’t narrow down my choices, and so i just dumped my entire draw into a suitcase. is that bad? i guess i should have made smarter packing decisions, but we’re moving into a beach house i mean. c’mon.”

WHAT’S SOMETHING INTERESTING ABOUT YOUR LIFE?

“um, well i’m fluent in korean, which is my mother tongue, and i looove cooking korean food. i probably could have been a chef in a past life, but i’m pretty sure that ship has sailed, ha. anyways, yeah, my parents were really like, adamant on making sure i stayed in tune with my culture? so i’ve got that, and it definitely adds a little flavor to my mixing pot.”

WHAT’S AN ASPECT ABOUT YOURSELF THAT WILL MAKE THINGS INTERESTING IN THE HOUSE?

— don’t ever expect orion to clean up after herself. it’s without a doubt the biggest flaw of sharing a house with her, because the girl is a slob. her bed is never made, her clothes are scatted all throughout the house and the only chore she does regularly is laundry. she’s sure it’s something that works up everyone’s nerves, but she’d really not bothered by it. lazy isn’t the word for it though, because orion is anything but lazy, but she just really can’t be arsed to pick up broom or plug in a vacuum. she’s got housemates to help her out with that, right?

— partying is second nature to orion at this point in her life. she wakes up ready to go at it and doesn’t call it a night until she’s crashing in her bed ( or someone else’s, she’s a cuddler ), too wiped out to keep her eyes open. but best believe she’s right back at it in again the next day. it’s because of her constant hungover state that she’s late for work every shift.  she’s probably on the verge of being fired at this point, but they’ve stopped putting timely expectations on her, because once she shows up, she shows up ready to work.

— it’s no secret that orion loves sex. she’s not ashamed of it and she never has been, she doesn’t feel any need to be when it’s something so.. amazing. if you sit her down and bring it up in conversation, she’ll chew your ear off about how shitty it is that women are made to feel shameful about sex. that being said, there aren’t many nights where orion doesn’t have someone in her bed. hashtag queen of one night stands. she’ll never get attached though, that’s her rule. sex is physical, not emotional. emotional sex gets you into trouble, and she’s not looking to get into that kind of trouble with anyone anytime soon.
