              he’s so TERRIFIED, both of himself and the heat of the moment. his heart instantly breaks from the sight and as quickly as he wishes to comfort the other, ty’s just one step ahead. the male fails to realize that his body is suffering from all that it’s observed. ‘hera’s trembling uncontrollably, fearing the absolute worst as ty comes towards him. he was the human embodiment of strength and even in his most vulnerable moments, he remained the blessing ahera had always prayed for. the words fell into his ears, wrapped itself around his head and left his body in the form of tears. his own shaking hands were moving to reach up and graze the other’s skin, needing the immediate contact to calm down. “i-i...” he wants it to sound right, unscripted and in truth. “i-i’m in love with you. y-you can’t l-let me g-go, ty, you can’t. i-i wanna stay with you.” 

           his stomach felt as if it were being squeezed between the palms of someone else’s hands. the male’s chest was burning, heaving as if his entire stature would collapse if he didn’t breathe in enough air to cease the fire. the other’s speech felt all too good to be true, so much that ahera almost wanted it to be a lie. how could the world possibly allow this man to go this long by himself when he gave it so much to offer. ty was the ideal specimen, the pupil of god’s eye and to try and believe that ahera deserved someone with so much worth was beyond him. his mind couldn’t handle it, let alone the three words that were itching to escape the other’s lips. “ NO, YOU DON’—- you don’ get to say that, ty !! not now—- not when m’leaving. what am i suppose to do, huh ?? hear you say it an’ act as if i ain’t hear it so i can leave an’ pretend that this doesn’t hurt as much as it could ??”

         his mind is bouncing around the walls that his usual observant behavior goes flying out the door along with his rationality. now with tyrell smiling, he fails to register what’s truth and what isn’t. this concept was so foreign to him; falling hopeless in love with someone only to be torn away straight from their arms. it’s unfamiliar to him—- specifically, with the new combination of love involved. “ DON’ TELL ME t’fuckin’ stop when you —- why’re you actin’ like this is okay ?? what, you’re just so used to havin’ t’detach yourself from people ev’ryday that you don’ even flinch wit’ me ?? jus’—- say it’s only me.”

         “ just WHAT ?? —- what, what did she find out ‘bout you an’ call you over the phone an’ fuckin’ TELL YOU ?? god forbid, you saw this comin’ an’ found somebody ELSE ??!! ” realistically, he’s got no reason to be lashing out this way and with ty at that. tyrell was pure, the only good beyond his family ahera knew. and he was pushing him away. “ FUCK YOU. ”

             “I THOUGHT you cared.”
