I haven't written on here for some years now (I only wrote like 1 fic... BUT STILL LOL), but I had an interesting idea for a fic, or maybe a series, that I wanted to see if anyone would be willing to read! I want it to include the following:

I want it to be a Royalty AU, where the fem!reader and male!character are in an arranged marriage/marriage of convenience. I want it to be a sweet, maybe slightly angsty slow burn kind of story.

I know there are probably sooo many fics like this out there, but I love the concept so much!

I wrote a preview/snippet of the story that you can read below! Also found below are some characters I'm considering as the male!character in the story! I would appreciate if you could vote who you'd like for me to center this on!

Side note: I'm planning on making major changes to my masterlist, so if you want to take a look at that, please note that I probably won't write for most of those characters, and will be adding to it soon! I'll post once I've updated it!

Additionally, my schedule is quite busy and unpredictable, so my updates won't be that consistent. I would be so appreciative if you guys could be patient with me as I work out times to update the story consistently.

The clouds wept from the sky above, a cool, delicate breeze engulfing the air like a comforting embrace. Thunder echoed, and lightning brightened and awakened the gloomy atmosphere—a complete opposite depiction of the emotions within his heart at that moment.

There she was, spinning and dancing amongst the rain and clouds as she unintentionally pulled its grace towards her like a magnet. And perhaps he was imagining it, but he swears there was an angelic halo above her head, and a glow from the heavens itself kissing her soft skin.

She was beautiful. She was a treasure worthy of being protected.

She was the embodiment of perfection; the kind of woman found in the most blissful dreams and fairytales.

And she was his. His wife; his forever partner. The one whom he can admire each day and love.

Love.

Love... from afar.

Because the moment she notices him, the walls will reconstruct themselves, The dancing will halt, and the once happy, tranquil expression she carried will return to her usual shy, weary one.

And he will, once again, have to control his heart, body, and soul from crossing the boundaries between them. He swears to wait for her to love him, even if it's a fraction of how much he loves her. Even if he must wait for an eternity, or until their last breaths.

After all, their relationship was one crafted out of necessity, a bond of convenience that benefitted everyone but them. A marriage seen by the eyes of the law and the public, but cold within the confines of their home.

He was never supposed to fall in love with her. He promised he wouldn't; swore he would treat her right, but also maintain his distance. Everything was going so well.

Until it wasn't.

She made it impossible not to fall in love.

So, for the time being, until the tides turn in his favor, he will continue to watch her from afar. He will guard his heart and his feelings until she comes to him. And if the graces are in his favor, he will wait for her to utter those three magical words to him, so that he also may express his truth to her.

Pairing: TASM!peter parker x reader

Scenario: After a night of patrolling, Peter comes to your window and all he wants is to have you in his embrace. You wouldn’t have it any other way.

Warnings: Nothing that I can find! Just pure fluff :)

A/N: I started this page so long ago, and I’m so embarrassed that I haven’t published anything until now, lol! I’m going to try and post more, and I’m also going to change my masterlist up and just my entire page in general. I’m going to try and be more interactive and stuff. Anyways, this is SO SHORT, and I’m soooo sorry!!! I’m going to try and write something longer, but for now, I hope you all enjoy... whatever this is, haha!!

A faint sound is heard from your window as you look up from the book you were reading. You set the book aside and walk towards the window, pulling your curtains up. A tired Peter meets your eyes, as he smiles at you and waits for you to let him in.

God, he’s so cute, you thought.

“Peter? What are you doing here?” You questioned as he climbed through your window. He stumbles a bit but after catching his balance, he wraps his arms around you loosely and places his chin on top of your head. 

That was the most perfect feeling to you. The security and comfort his embrace gave you was enough to keep you happy for all your days. He unleashed the most beautiful emotions inside of you; made you smile despite any situation. He was always there, arms wide and waiting for you and only you. That was enough for you.

“I needed to see you. I missed you.” He kissed the top of your head gently.

You giggled, “Peter I saw you a few hours ago at school. It hasn’t been that long.” You place your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to you.

He lifts your chin so that you’re facing him, a soft smile on his face. He lifts one of his hands and caresses your cheek and you only see love in his eyes. It is so genuine and pure that all you want to do is stare in his captivating brown eyes all day long.

“I don’t care if it’s been a few hours or a few seconds. I needed to see you and hold you.” He admits. 

Silently, you pull him to your bed. He lays down, opening his arms for you. You wordlessly lay your head on his chest as you wrap your arms loosely around his waist. One of his hands rubs soothing circles on the small of your back, while the other finds your hair as he subconsciously runs his fingers through it. The sound of his heartbeat places you in the most peaceful trance, and you wish that time would just stop altogether. He kisses your forehead repeatedly before he wraps his hands around you tighter, making sure you wouldn’t go away. In return, you place a few kisses on his chest, right where his heart is.

Nothing else is said as you both just hold each other, occasionally giving each other kisses which are filled with nothing but genuine adoration for one another. The entire time he holds you in his arms you think of how lucky you are to have him in your life, and how perfect this was. You thought about him and everything you both have been through. You thought of everything that had to do with you and him, and it made you smile.
