I remember how few years ago I made an important decision.

I was sitting on my kitchen table and thinking things over and over. I bit my lip while feeling both fearful and excited. Finally giving up to the feeling of excitement I decided to be brave and start an art project of my own.

I had absolutely no art education back then nor any knowledge of marketing, writing or building any kind of career as an artist. But little by little I learned and taught myself as much as I could.

Now this project has fans and followers in over 30 different countries. I've sold my paintings, had wonderful discussions, held exhibitions and met new people. I'm still learning. Don't get me wrong, there is still so much to learn every day.

But none of these great things would have happened if I would have chosen fear over being courageous and trying my very best.

So to everyone there doubting - trust your ability to make those brave choices. I'm now talking about decisions which will color your life and your memories. They are worth making and you are worth making them come true.

This is my latest finished work. It is made with acrylic paints and a manipulated print. I wanted to create a painting of a crone. To explore my roots and to paint an old wise woman with knowledge and experience. To me she is part of my own shamanistic roots. A healer and a story teller who knows many tricks. Kind, caring and strong woman to whom people turn to when they need her wisdom.
