Beautiful Disaster

“For a first time it’s pretty good! If you ever need any tips, you can come to me – even if I’m a guy I do dabble with makeup from time to time. Everyone’s gotta look their best, right?” A smile formed on his lips. “But you also have the benefit that you’re a natural beauty, so I wouldn’t worry too much.”

“I would appreciate that very much, thank you.”  Adelia smiled, her cheeks turning slightly pink as the male continued.  “Do you really think so?”

A small chuckle fell from Kieran’s lips, followed by a smirk spreading across them. “Maybe I’ve been like this longer than you think… darkness lingers in all of our hearts, we just need to let it win.”

“No!”  Adealis felt tears begin to form in her eyes, but she held them back.  “I refuse to believe that.  I have never seen any darkness in your heart, and yet you expect me to believe that you could be so easily persuaded?  I’m sorry, but it’s not true.”

     Recognising the girl, Ezra crosses his arms over his chest as if that would grant him some modesty… It does not. ‘ Well make ‘aste already lass. Don’t wanna be in chains by nightfall cause of public indecency. I’d prefer to be caught for different things. ‘

“I can imagine.”  Adelia rolled her eyes before she ran off, returning a few minutes later with a bathrobe.  “It’s all I have that would fit you, but it should suffice for the time being.”

The male glanced up from the blossoms in his hand, distracted from the real world to see the pretty girl approaching him. “It really is. I’ve never been somewhere like this before. It’s beautiful.” Hayden let out a chaste laugh, leaning his head back to rest on the tree behind him.

“I have, but it’s been a very long time.”  Adelia looked around, grinning and letting out a soft laugh.  “I’d almost forgotten how lovely it was.”

After worrying over the sudden change of scenery, Hayden decided on a mellow distraction, perched under the largest tree to admire nature. It was a certain change from the delicate blossoms of China.

Adelia enjoyed taking walks, mostly because she’d been around the same old scenery for centuries and loved the change.  Upon coming across another figure seemingly enjoying the nature as much as she was.  “Lovely, isn’t it?”  She smiled, approaching the male.

     One thing Ezra knows about this entire place is that it’s surprisingly warm. This conclusion occurred as- well- his previous suit fell apart and now he stands bare to the world in his birthday suit. Catching someone eyeing him, he raises one thick brow. ‘ Ya’ mind less starin’ and more tellin’ me where a lad can grab some wears? ‘

“Oh my goodness-”  Adelia’s eyes went wide and she turned away from the man, mouth hanging open in shock.  “I uh...  I can get you something.  Just- Just stay here.”

“Trashy?” Rylee said perplexed “never heard it.. you don’t look like trash at all.”

“Not at all.” Ranse replied, giving her a smile. “I don’t think you look ‘trashy’ in the slightest.”

“Alright, thank you.”  Adelia replied with a nod of her head and soft smile.

“It looks fine to me, though you might need a little help with that eyeliner… don’t ever be afraid to use too much make-up! If someone calls you trashy because of it, then clearly they’re not the sort of person you want to be hanging around anyways.”

Adelia nodded.  “I’m afraid it’s my first time experimenting with this kind of makeup.  I’m not very good at it yet.”  She smiled, nodding her head once again in appreciation.  “Thank you.”

“So I was heading over to my grandmother’s house, but instead of ending up in Halloweentown, I end up here.” Marnie felt terribly lost, she had tried using her powers to get back home, but this new place had been blocking her magic. “Where is here anyway?”

“I’m not entirely sure where we are, and I’m afraid I can’t offer much of an explanation...  I’m sorry.”

“ Well if you keep doing stupid shit of course you’re going to get hurt. “ she pointed. 

“But I wasn’t doing anything!  I was just walking and I tripped.”

     ‘ Here’s a pro tip, humans tend to breath through their noses. Hell of a lot more quieter. ‘

“Right, of course...  Thank you.”

     ‘ Learn to live with it… Going to have to learn to get use to that whole live part of that sentence first. ‘ Cedric pauses outside the building. The living had made much progress since horses and carriages. Does not mean he likes it at all… In other words there’s a drop of fear in his gut but he shoves it down. ‘ What I think is not charming. ‘ A slight tug to his lips at his tease before he forces himself to move forward.

“It will become like a second nature to you eventually.  After all, it’s not like you haven’t experienced it before.”  Adelia rolled her eyes a little as she tugged him into the building.  “That’s the pessimism talking again.  At least try to enjoy something for once.”

“Does these uh– headaches, always occur?” 

“Well, it’s been a long time since I was last intoxicated, but yes, I think they’re pretty common.”
