First foray into Automotive modelling in blender with an Aston Martin V12 vantage. (2.5 hours modelling to this point)

I’ve been helping plan a new kitchen using the IKEA online planner. So after I thought it would be good to build some cabinets of my own and and push ahead with my Blender learning. 

Excuse the “screenshots”.. This was a quick model for a bin store I'm making for home. I know which wood want to use but I wanted to get a feel for the layout and rough image to work with. 

Drinks can done whilst watching a tutorial last week. 

Had a little fun with Maya today modelling a wine bottle and cork. The main focus was to go away from tutorials and try to speed up my modelling.

So I’ve been really busy with physical work recently but I’ve managed to cramp in a few hours of tutorials and thought I’d go for something more geometric. I found myself jumping ahead of the tutorial with this one. Still interested to see what area of digital modelling I prefer.

It’s been a particularly busy past few weeks but manage to get some time this morning to work on the next stage of this tutorial; adding the coffee cup. 

Struggled to fit in time to learn recently, but really happy with the progress on this project. Again all learning is self-taught from youtube tutorials. 

Learning more about lighting and rendering... All learning has been from youtube tutorials.
