Anyone remember the opening to this...memories man.

I have not found a more helpful description about this. I kinda thought I’d have to draw more in order to “like drawing so that I can draw again” but not as a means to develop my style. I thought being able to draw as a child meant I could do anything I wanted with it as an adult.
I’m very happy I came across this, something so simple. It really does make sense, I began working for a company before college, through college and then six years directly after college. I don’t think I was able to fully grasp my style as I was primarily focused on one specific child like artwork.
I know deep inside that I’m interested in a variant of specific looking eyes (not anime lmao) and muted colour schemes and the elongating and simplicity of lines. I just don’t have the practice.
I believe anyone can make art. But how do we make art that feels like our own art? That feels like you?
A video of a Procreate drawing...what a name for a program...
Here is my offspring.
I have major MAJOR artist block and just can’t draw when I want to. When I do get something out, it’s a big deal to me. No matter how small...or weirdly drawn...
LOOKING AT YOU BOX SNOUT!

Here is a picture of a dog that I drew yesterday after work.
His name is Box Snout.
And he can run fast.
Neat, first time using this thing in many years. Let’s get ready to talk to myself openly using TMI to the general public.
