I took a few hours out to make this life saving macro UI menu and…
I’m in love. Why didn’t I do this earlier, this is so helpful.
YES I DO THIS TOO because honestly I keep my UI a mess of buttons anyway, so this is the only way to not drown in gearsets…
WHU- HOW I DO. PLS TEACH US THE WAYS.
YES it is actually SUPER EASY. Here is one of my UI macros:
The “/hotbar display [#]” macro sets one of your hotbars to toggle on/off your UI. So when you click it, it will make that particular bar appear or disappear.
So! If you wanted to set up a toggleable bar with just your RP sets on it like this one, all you need to do is load your RP gearsets on to a single hotbar, then set up a macro like this. The display # will correspond to the number of the hotbar you picked.
Then on your UI setup you do something like this.
That section in the bottom right where I have a bunch of hotbars piled on top of each other? That’s where all my toggleable hotbars are. So when I turn them on, they appear in the spot I’ve selected them to, just like any other hotbar.
One thing about doing this- if the hotbars sit on top of each other, they can appear on top of each other. But all that means is I have to start clicking buttons to turn the one on top off.
It’s super convenient, and it means I don’t have to dedicate a nightmare of screenspace to gearsets. Well, anymore than I already do that is…
THANK!
