rhys: apologetic bottom, but tops because he feels like he has to. would do anything to please, himbo energy. really tries his best but sometimes doesn’t interpret it quite right. 

gwen: big time power top, but power bottom when she has to be. does NOT switch easily bc she’s stubborn. probably has a choking kink but she’s the one who does the choking. 

owen: top, but a surprisingly selfless one. very giving lover (case in point: out of time). secretly has a thing for being dominated, esp by women (once again: out of time. i defs see it with gwen too).

ianto: switch, big time (even gareth david lloyd himself says he’s a switch). tops jack specifically, because of the switch in power dynamics between work and home. 

jack: judges by his energy with partners, but generally likes to top. definitely the seducer (case in point: um…everything…)
