Hi everyone with a daughter!! I took squirt shopping, and we had to get a swimsuit. After much argument, I finally got her a two piece (I was going to get a larger one piece and tailor it-but no time). The last two piece she had was two years ago... It was a gift and I let her wear it once. I felt so creeped out buying this cute little thing for my seven year old! There were lingere-like tiny bikinis... For two year olds!!! I thought, "how inappropriate!"... I agreed to get her this bathing suit.. Because it was $5.. And we needed one in her size today, so I looked for the one with the most fabric! Hahaha!!! She tells me, "mama, all the girls in school have this kind of swimsuit, I'm excited you let me get this one!"... O_O.... Oh and we found those cute kitty flats in her size alas! I tried to use it as a size reference so you can see how tiny the bathing suit is... But she has small feet too :/ I was wondering if any of you feel the same way about buying your young daughters "trendy yet adult-like" garments?
