I’m also a feeler and so I’ve felt genuinely sad over this, that feels really stupid though because it’s not my business and they’re still happy but idk, it feels very sad
We’re allowed to feel sad, okay? I don’t want anyone believing they don’t have a right to feel sad. It’s a very normal reaction to disappointment.
The only thing that matters is that we allow that to manifest in healthy ways. We don’t take it out on either of them (publicly, if you wanna vent with people - do it via DMs or GCs, because I know that can be a coping mechanism but do it in the right, most respectful, way). And we don’t take it out on outside parties either.
It’s true that it’s not our business and that they don’t owe us anything. But we’re still invested. And we’re allowed to mourn. I mourn every fictional ship I’m involved with as well.
We can be happy they’re happy, but we can also be sad that it’s not in the way we dreamed of (right now). It doesn’t make us bad people. It makes us human. We have to let ourselves feel.
I’m sad very sad and I don’t care what the hell ppl say abt it I have the right to be sad!
