i mean, death’s alignment to me is a very complex thing to discuss as in the eyes of many, she is the harbinger of grief, she is the reason families are torn apart, mothers are lost, children are ripped away only seconds after they’ve just entered this world ; many people view her to be an immensely ‘grim’ force, which is true to an extent -- but we don’t realise that death itself can be a form of release, euthanasia for people who are already suffering, as opposed to a punishment. she DOES feel empathy, she really does. at least mara does. she understands the weight of murder, death, loss,  she comprehends why people feel PAIN, but she elects to ignore that as it is really off putting for her. the thought of the idea of her / it taking another person’s life generally does not make her feel ‘empowered’. as she is an embodiment, she is loss itself a majority -- she is what you make of it.
