thank uuu T_T I don't think I'm an expert, but these are some rules I try to follow: 1. don't be afraid of looking at references. art isn't a test, if you forget how to draw an eyeball, you can look it up! 2. don't prioritize improvement, improvement will come naturally over time as you draw more and more. So, just draw what you want and step outside of your comfort zone slowly. It's OK if it looks bad!!! You don't have to be constantly grinding. 3. get hyperfixated on something and draw a shit ton of it - great motivation to improve so you can draw your hyperfixation better XD

Thank uuu, I've actually starting drafting patterns for him and ordering different materials. I have such a specific image in my mind of what I want him to look like and I WILL NOT stop until I achieve it!
