Introvert Problems
Wanting to be invited but not wanting to go anywhere.Â
Being lonely at home but not wanting anyone in your space unless you really like them.
And even if you do really like them, you want them to go home soon.Â

Hi, I recently applied to the CR program and I seem to fit all the job requirements (I am 22 years old, a Canadian citizen, speak English fluent, etc). However, the day after I applied, I received a reply saying I was no longer in consideration and that I did not meet the job requirements. Oh, and that I couldn't apply again for six months. :( Does anyone know why I would be declined? And since the cultural rep program starts in April, should I apply again in December, if its still open?
I honestly have no idea what you would be declined?? I would send out an email asking what you can improve on for the next time you apply?Â
Anyone else out there have any suggestions?Â

nope nope nope nope nopeÂ
hey, i am from vancouver and am thinking about applying! i was curious about the tattoos and piercings rule i've heard about. i have a tattoo on my wrist and a few ear piercings, would this make me unqualified? would the uniforms cover my wrist, etc? THANKS :)
if you want to work in food and beverage, i believe it’s elbow and below you can’t have tattoos, but i know of people who did and just didn’t say anything about them in the interview and used make up to cover them for shifts. also worked with a guy who had tattoos down his arms and wore a long sleeve shirt under his popcorn shirt to hide them, but i wouldn’t want to do that in the florida heat myself.Â
you’re allowed one set of ear piercings and they are very strict on the types of earrings you can wear (honestly i would just wear bizarre earrings to see what i could get away with. i had a lot of sushi themed ones at the time. no one cared). i had my conch and nose pierced, but i just ended up taking them out when i started because it was too much of hassle to take them out and put them back in every day.Â

Hey! I just had a few question. First off for the cultural representative program do you need to be in college or is that just for the cultural exchange. Also, how old are most of the people participating?
Nope! the only qualification you need to get into the CRP program as far as I know is to be at least 18, and be a citizen of the country you’re applying to work at. I think (emphasis on THINK) that now because Le Cellier is all day signature dining, they require those wanting to work in F&B to have some sort of fine dining experience, or at least some sort of serving experience, but it’s not like you don’t get full training on the job anyways. As for ages, you can be any age! the youngest will be 18, but on my first contract I definitely worked with a lady who was late 40s/early 50s. I feel like most people are between 20-28 though? as a rough guestimate.Â
i keep seeing on peoples blog that they go shopping at "the outlets" and they are getting a lot of stuff.... is it super cheap there? i know cast members get an extra 20% off but are the prices like?
The outlets people are referring to are the Orlando Premium Outlets (part of a chain? type of deal? I know there’s definitely a Seattle Premium Outlets and a few others) it’s just an open air outlet mall that has a mix of higher end stores and stores like Vans and Lulu Lemon and American Eagle, etc. There’s also a Disney store there that is the perfect place to get disney parks candy if you’re crazy like me (white chocolate covered pretzels and salt water taffy!!!!) or anything really, because you get your regular disney discount, and then whatever it’s on sale for there.Â
there may be a few stores that honour the disney discount, but you’ll never know if you don’t ask. no one really advertises it. personally, I found the outlets really hit or miss savings-wise, but it’s definitely dangerous living across the street from it (If you’re at The Commons that is).Â
OH ALSO if you go there, go to the fudge shop because there is an amazing man there who makes fudge and sings about making fudge and sometimes the girls behind the counter join in and it was my favourite thing to do there. Plus their lemonade was killer.Â
How old were you when you did your reps?? I won't graduate school until I'm 23 and I feel like I'll be too old and be surrounded by 18year olds lol
not at all!! i was 23/24 when i did my first program, and 25 for my second one. plenty of people my age!! if anything, there’s more people 21+ (i found personally) possibly because of the drinking age, but who knows.Â
Overthinking is a sign of intelligence. The more intelligent you are the more you overthink. Same goes for caring.

the view from the top of the sea to sky gondola is out of control, plus there’s this suspension bridge ^ and a bunch of smaller trails. well worth the money (if you don’t want to hike all the way up)
Hey there! I am coming from Canada and going to work at Disney soon :) Just wondering which type of police record check did you do when you need to complete the background check in Canada? I realize there are criminal record check and information check. Hope you can answer my question. I'm a bit lost right now :(
To be honest, I couldn’t tell you. All I did was go to my local detachment, tell the receptionist what it was for, filled out a form and got my check within 5 minutes. I’m fairly certain it was a criminal background check, but i don’t know where the paperwork is to double check.Â

Hi! I applied for the CRP and immediately got an email saying I don't meet the min requirements. I'm a 25 yr old Canadian and graduated from college for tourism in 2013. Do you have to be in college to be in this program? That's the only thing I can think of why I wouldn't have met the requirements.
I'm not sure why you'd receive an email like that? All I can remember for the requirements are you have to be at least 18 years old? If anyone else has some more recent insight, please let this lady know!
