Part of a wall in BaNanna Park and that's my rental bike, which is electric so I felt like a super fast bike rider on it. The legend of the Danish flag is that it literally fell from heaven. It has the honor of being the longest used flag. From Vor Frelsers Kirke (Church of Our Savior): A view of Copenhagen as the sun was starting to set. It's worth the climb up the 400 stairs in the tower, the spire. The last 150 steps are outside and it's on these steps that I started to question the durability of this spire. Walking around Christiania, the autonomous part of Copenhagen is an experience. There is an aroma that comes from the open selling of marijuana, a lot of street art decorates many of the buildings, a lack of any street signs. The Wish Tree Garden by Yoko Ono is a live exhibition where visitors write a wish and tie it to a tree. This is Nyhavn, a common scene of photos of Copenhagen. This canal was dug in the late 1600s by Swedish POWs. Hans C. Andersen lived at several different addresses here, to be close to the Royal Playhouse, which sits at the entrance to the harbour.
