Hi everyone. I’m somewhat back from hiatus, and this time I have a jewellery internship. I finished making this the other day and thought now would be a good time to start sharing my work again. I look forward to seeing what people think of this :)

Hi. Thanks for your question. Unfortunately the symbols weren’t etched in, they were carved in using a tiny chisel of sorts. I placed the ring on a mandril which was held in a vice, then I roughly marked out the symbols on it. From there I stamped them in using the tiny chisel and a chasing hammer. When I get a chance I’ll upload some pics of the setup and tools.

I initially made this a long time ago out of copper and brass, but only just recently had a mould made up of it. It came with a rough cast of one so I could see what it looks like, I roughly cleaned it up with the tools I had at home so there are a few mistakes. But once I cast some myself, figure out pricing and get some decent photos, I’ll be selling these on my Etsy page.
