Luffy

You know the thing Luffy does where he slings his arms out and yeets whoever to him into a big hug? Yeah, expect that a LOT as his partner. 

At least 3 times a day he WILL have you in a bear hug and lift you around like that for a good 5-10 minutes.

Zoro

WILL pick you up and carry you with him if you stand in his way - do not test this man. 

He’s also very likely to pick you up and force you to take a nap/cuddle with him at random points throughout the day.

Sanji

He gets cuteness aggression really easily and whenever you’re too much for him to handle he’ll pick you up and squeeze you to his chest and walk around like that for a while.

Will randomly pick you up and spin you around out of cuteness aggression too.

If you’re walking around somewhere with him he will absolutely pick you up and carry you after like 15 minutes if you’re wearing heels. It’s the gentleman inside of him, totally not just him wanting to be close to you or anything.

Ace

Oh this man LOVES picking you up all the time holy crap.

Any time either he or you come back from a mission he WILL carry you around for at least 2-5 hours. He will NOT let go of you. 

LOVES giving you piggyback rides randomly and finds it absolutely adorable if you fall asleep on him like that.

Shanks

He loves to do it teasingly, picking you up and putting you over his shoulder and then laughing when you kick your legs in protest.

His crewmembers totally think he’s trying to flex on them by picking you up with his one arm lol.

He just finds you so cute, it’s hard not to tease you like that every once in a while.

Also, he will just snatch you up and carry you away if he ever sees you in a stupid argument with anyone.

Hi Anon! Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable writing this as I'm someone that has struggled with disordered eating and on top of that I don't want to accidentally trigger any readers 😅

Summary: Law x simpy/affectionate reader.

Warnings: Fluff. Reader is gender-neutral. Reader is incredibly confident lol. Brief mention of Law's past and struggles with feelings/emotions.

Law is the definition of tsundere.

He will NOT admit anything publicly, all of his affection is strictly for your private life. 

It’ll take him so long to accept the fact that you two have feelings for each other. He spends literally forever pretending like nothing, despite how open you are about it. 

Literally he is just in denial for SO long.

After you flirting with him openly for a few months you have a party where you end up drunkenly properly confessing your feelings for him.

Law being the only sober person that night cannot let go of what you said and confronts you about it the next day.

Although he can’t convey his feelings, your confidence and affection are enough for the two of you.

As you two start dating he starts to get more and more confident in your relationship, and eventually, he starts showing you affection back, but only in private of course. 

He’ll start playing with your hair or drawing patterns on your skin eventually. Perhaps he would even cuddle into you if you're both sitting next to each other on a couch.

It takes him damn near a year until he stops getting flustered when you compliment him. 

He knows that regardless of how embarrassing it is for him though, you won’t even judge him for anything, because if anything you’re 10,000 x more affectionate than he is. 

All your crewmates will tease him for aaaages, even when he does get used to it. More than anything though, they’re all surprised he lets you do it in front of all the others.

In reality, Law knows he can’t stop you from showing your affection, and frankly he doesn’t want you to stop either. 

Anytime you come running at him and give him a big hug or a kiss on the cheek he just gives the rest of your crewmates a glare (but that does NOT stop them from snickering).

The sun was setting into beautiful colours of pink and orange where you stood on top of the Polar Tang. Your captain had asked to get some fresh air, and for you to come with him. So there you stood, leaning against the railing next to Law. You glance to your right to see his hair lightly blowing in the wind, without the usual hat sitting on his head. He notices your glance and raises an eyebrow at you and you smile back at him.

“Was there anything in particular you wanted, Captain?” You ask him sweetly as you pick up a stray hair strand laying on his yellow shirt. His body stiffens slightly and he lets out a sigh.

“Y/N-yah… You’re gonna make me go crazy…” He mutters, barely audible. “I wanted to talk to you… about…” He lets out another sigh, this one heavier than the first one. “I wanted to talk to you about what you said yesterday.” He says and moves to corner you against the railing of the ship. You smile at him as you gently put your hands on the forearms on either side of you. You don’t notice it but his hands are gripping to the railing for dear life. 

“Oh that? I meant every word I said, you know?” You respond, unashamed. Why would you be ashamed of your feelings after all? He’s Trafalgar Law. He has a mildly shocked expression on his face, and combined with his flushed cheeks he looks adorable. He should be used to this by now, you think, with how much you’ve flirted with him since you joined the crew it’s shocking he even reacts to it anymore. 

“E-everything?” He asks and you hum and nod your head. Law looks down to his feet, his arms still surrounding you. “Y/N-yah, I’m… I’m not sure I deserve that…. I don’t think this is good for either of us… I’ll only get you hurt. Or worse.” He whispers. Your brows furry and you shake your head.

“Law. That’s nonsense and you know it. As if both of us aren’t constantly living in danger all day every day… You know damn well I don’t care about that. I love you. So much. And you deserve so much more than you get. I know that you have your… issues. But I need you to know that I’ll always be here for you regardless of that, okay? I don’t care if I’m only your friend, I’ll always be here to help you. I’ll always be by your side.” Law’s expression turns into one of awe, his eyes wide and mouth agape. His right hand moves from the railing to cup your cheek.

“Y/N… I… I don’t know what to say…” His sentence trails off and a blush creeps up on his face again. “You know my past, and you know I’ve been hurt. I struggle with my feelings, and you know this… But… If I get to be selfish I want to, uhm,” He looks away from your face, “I’d like to take you up on the offer you made last night…” He whispers and his hand falls back down to the railing. 

The smile on your face turns to a grin as you take in what he’s said. “My offer? You mean when I told you I’d really like to show you my love? When I told you that you should trust the feelings of your heart and trust me? Because I still stand by that.” He groans as his face turns even redder. You shake your head and giggle at him before standing on your toes to give him a light kiss on the cheek. He turns to look at you again with wide eyes.

“Law. I already told you I love you, right? There’s no need to be ashamed.” You smile at him before leaning in to hug him and bury your face in his neck. 

“God, you really are gonna be the death of me, aren’t you?” he whispers as he embraces you back and holds you tight against him. He presses a kiss to the top of your head before burying his nose in your hair. “Thank you Y/N-yah. Thank you for understanding the words I can’t convey…”

I feel like Ace is someone who struggles a lot with self-worth (obviously) so he’s not super used to receiving affection… Until he meets you. 

When you two started dating you’d constantly make him SO flustered from the smallest things without even meaning to.

You hold his hand? He’s blushing. Kiss his cheek? He’s blushing. You tell him he looks sooo handsome in his new shirt? He’s losing his mind. 

He tries his best to show you his feelings back at you because he loves you SO much but he gets so shy when you compliment him.

At first he genuinely struggles to understand how you could feel that way about him, but the more you show him the more confident he gets about it. 

After you two have dated for a few months he gets so used to it, he might actually start jokingly bragging about it.

Someone on the ship starts talking about how they had a threesome on the last island y’all visited and Ace is all like “Oh yeah? Well get fucked because I have my very own simp, betcha can’t beat that.” with a stupid smirk on his face. 

Eventually starts “simping back at you” and pinches your cheeks telling you how cute/handsome you are, or picking you up in a hug while spinning around telling you how much he loves you.

Honestly, I feel like this is the type of love that Ace needs. Unconditional, sappy love. 

“Oh! Y/N! I’ve been looking for you!” Ace smiles at you as you board the ship. You’d been doing some essential shopping with Marco on the island you were docked at while Ace stayed behind to guard the ship (not that anyone dared to mess with the Whitebeard pirates…).

“Ace!!!” you drop your things carefully as you run up to him and give him a big hug, putting your face in his neck and squeezing his body to yours. As you pull away you give him a kiss on the cheek.

“I got you some yummy-looking fruits while I was out! I think you’ll like them!” you smile at him and give him another kiss on the nose. You see his blush spread on his face despite the smirk he's holding with his lips. 

“Oh yeah? Well how could I ever say no to something my dear Y/n bought me?” he says as he starts leaning in for a proper kiss. Right before he can reach you though, he gets hit in the face with a paper towel. You look behind you and see Marco with a deadpan face, another paper towel ready in his hand to throw.

“Oi, can you two stop simping for each other and start helping loading in the groceries instead?” 

Ace rolls his eyes and playfully chucks the paper towels back at Marco who catches it with ease.

“Whatever man, sorry I have a beautiful partner and you don’t” he says as he picks up one of the bags you left on the ship’s floor. “Come on, Y/n, let’s get this done and over with so we can go somewhere private, yeah?”.

No need to write or anything if it’s weird or too much !! Not sure if your requests are full or not … but would it be okay to request headcannons with the Strawhats x gen!reader who falls asleep anywhere? They don’t realize how frequently tired they get so they just … nap in even the most questionable poses lol.

Luffy

Honestly, he’s too stupid to consider that it could be a health issue so he just kinda thinks it’s cute

It’s not until someone like Chopper or Nami asks him if you’re okay that he’s like “Wait a damn minute…. Is my partner okay???”

He’ll confront you about it, super concerned, asking if you’re dying and you’ll be like “ ??? what now???”

He’ll sit with you as Chopper examines you with very stern eyebrows. When Chopper tells him that you’re fine he has the BIGGEST smile on his face.

Would probably either join your naps (and also sleep in weird places/positions) or poke you until you wake up lol. 

Zoro

Dude will join your naps, no questions asked.

He’ll ask you if you’re okay, but once you tell him that you’re fine he shrugs his shoulders and just lies down near you. 

If you look particularly uncomfortable if you’ve somehow squeezed yourself in between two boxes or something he might pick you up and plop you down in a hammock instead.

Most of the time though he just sits or lays down next to you, with an arm around your shoulder or waist.

He knows you think it's adorable to wake up with him half-snuggled into you <3

Nami

Before you start dating she might judge you a little. She might give you a weird look when she finds you hanging from your legs in her tangerine trees lmao.

When you start dating though she’ll find it cute as hell. Whenever she’s just walking around on the ship and finds you in the most random places it’ll make her giggle. 

When she finds you she’ll squat down beside you, move your hair from your face, and give you a kiss on your forehead as you wake up.

“Wake up sleepyhead, surely this can’t be comfortable?” she’ll say teasingly as she pulls you up on your feet (and drags you away to go cuddle somewhere) 

Usopp

He thinks it’s soooo cute but…. He might jokingly gaslight you about it.

“Oh Y/N? Remember that time I found you sleeping in the Cola barrel and you heat all of Franky's cola up with your body temperature? No? Dang, and Franky got so sad about the Cola too…”

He’ll only gaslight you for a little bit though before kissing you and telling you it’s a joke. He’s not doing it maliciously, he just thinks it’s funny to tease you and make up stories (and tell them to Chopper who totally believes it every time)

Honestly, I feel like Usopp would be the type to tuck blankets and pillows away in the most random places that you tend to fall asleep in, in hopes that you would use them.

He would also tell you to call for him if you start feeling sleepy so he can wake you up! 

In reality though, if you do call for him he’ll just get super soft and cuddly with you and you’d both end up napping together. 

Sanji

He’d be SO worried about you it’s not even funny

Would be sprinting to Chopper with you in his arms the first time you fall asleep in a weird place asking him to cure you immediately

After an intense check-up from Chopper (with Sanji crying, holding your hand) he’ll be so relieved that you’re fine.

He might scold you if he finds you in positions that look particularly uncomfortable, but he wouldn’t ever wake you up. He’d just pick you up and place you on a sofa somewhere and wait until you woke up to scold you.

Like Usopp, he would also ask you to tell him if you were feeling sleepy, but with cuddling 110% in mind.

If you ever come over to him and tell him that you’re sleepy you best believe this man is dropping WHATEVER he’s doing to pick you up and run somewhere you two could cuddle. 

Chopper

As a doctor, he’ll ask you some questions about it and be able to give you some advice on what to do.

Might prescribe you melatonin pills to take when you go to bed at night in hopes that you don’t nap at weird times/places.

Would definitely keep an eye on you and might get upset if you nap when he tells you not to (how could you do that to the poor doctor T_T)

Robin

I don’t think Robin would be all too worried honestly, I think she’d just find it cute

Similarly to Zoro, I think she might sit/lay next to you if she finds you and just read for a bit, stroking your hair if you’re lying in her lap.

She trusts that both you and Chopper know what’s healthy or not regarding your naps.

She might propose a daily naptime for you lol. Like, just a 40 min nap time where you’re leaning against her in the hammock or something like that.

Franky

It takes him a while to notice at first, and when someone tells him they found you under a carpet in the dining room he doesn’t believe them at all. When he goes to look for you and finds you under the dining room carpet though…. He loses his mind.

Honestly, I feel like Franky would just be baffled more than anything.

“But why would you nap there?? Aren’t there better places to nap? What if someone steps on you?” Mans is just incredibly confused. 

Might make you a smartwatch that gives him a notification whenever you fall asleep so he can go get you and put you to bed lol 

After it happens like 10 times he just starts joking about it even though he still doesn’t really understand. 

Brook

Another one that doesn’t really reflect on how weird it is lol

If he sees you lying somewhere random on deck he might just laugh at you

Will tease you about it when you wake up, might even make a stupid rhyme about it and get Luffy and Chopper in on the teasing as well 

But it’s all lighthearted at the end of the day!

Jinbei

I feel like Jinbei would be very confused like Franky, but would ultimately find it kind of cute. 

Might pick you up and carry you to your or his bed and tuck you in with a little kiss on the forehead

More than anything I feel like if another strawhat found you sleeping somewhere weird they would come up to him like “Jinbeiiii, they fell asleep on the stairs againnn” like it’s his duty to go pick you up lol. 

He might tease you a little bit about it because he finds it silly, but more than anything he finds it cute.
