As the veterans know, the 2026 Tumblr Sexyman polls are currently underway, and everyone’s favorite prosecutor with unnecessary feelings is on the ballot.

I encourage anyone who’s ever interacted with Ace Attorney to go and vote!! As well as spread propaganda so that Miles Edgeworth is crowned with this title he deserves.

Everything is a Lot opens with 6up 5oh, which is indeed a lot. Sirens wailing, smashing the piano, and Will letting out a bloodcurdling scream before the “Evil Jazz” kicks into full swing. It’s a great song, very high energy, and full of chaos.

Four albums later, we’ve got the conclusion of “In case I make it…” which is White Noise. The song ends with Will practically whisper-singing, and the calming ukulele strumming before the song finishes peacefully. The lyrics are real, and comforting.

I think it highlights just how much Will has changed and grown since the release of EIAL, and that’s really cool to me.

I was digging through some old files and found this thing I edited my freshman year of high school.

I say this because 90% of the time Will’s lyrics (paintballs, for the sake of the metaphor) don’t make much sense, flying right by your head. It’s fun, you enjoy them, you get fun bits like “If it rhymes it’s true, but I hate poetry,” “Queen sized purple waves of ancient chemicals,” or whatever nonsense goes on in The Main Character.

However, the other 10% hits HARD. And it makes a MESS. “‘Cause a normal human being wouldn’t need to pretend to be normal.” Great, now I feel incredibly called out and I’m sobbing my eyes out. “I’m barely a person at all, but someday I’ll be perfect and make up for it all.” OUCH.
