The simple answer is I’m not.

The longer answer is that I’ve been drawing with graphite and charcoal since the mid 1980s, with pastels, inks and ink washes since the early ’90s, painting with various media off and on since the mid ’90s, and working with digital pieces like the print in the wall hanging posted here a while back, since the late ’90s. I’ve had two gallery showings of my work. I used to post direct scans of finished pieces here and there, and still sometimes make them available to the people who are their models or inspirations, but stopped because of idiot comments like this, and began instead to post the cell phone and Instagram snaps of the pieces on the desk for reference. Feel free to apply ELA (Error Level Analysis) or whatever “photo forensics” you like to the pic. Or to go on believing whatever you like, because the end result is this: I didn’t and don’t do any of this for you and do not care in the least about your opinion of my work. I have nothing to prove, and no time or interest to waste. If you enjoy my work, good; if you don’t, feel free to ignore it and go elsewhere. Neither my life, well-being nor income will be affected either way by your belief or accusations.
