Marinette couldn’t believe that she was actually friends with Adrien now; it wasn’t the only thing she wanted to be with him, but it was a big start.
“His eyes are so green,” Marinette continued airily, swinging her legs off the edge of the roof she and Chat Noir were stationed atop for their nightly patrol.
“My eyes are green,” Chat said. He sounded more irritated every time he responded to her daydreaming, but she hardly noticed. Not when she had such a long list of things to tell him that she loved about about Adrien.
“His hair is so blonde,” Marinette said, fingers twitching. “I just want to run my hands through it.”
Chat growled. “My hair is blonde! And you can run your hands through it!”
“Please, Chat. You’re nothing like Adrien.”
She didn’t mean to let the name slip, knowing how important it was to keep their private lives private — and that included their love interests — but she was just too excited about him.
She breathed his name out again, the word almost coming out a whimper. “Adrien.”
“And my name is Adrien!” Chat was practically shouting with indignation now, but that couldn’t even possibly be true.
“Silly kitty,” Ladybug cooed. “You don’t have to be the same as Adrien for me to like you.”
“Bugaboo,” Chat said, but his tone was so flat, so serious in contrast to her own playfulness, that Ladybug snapped her head to look directly at him and focus on his next words. “I think — I think you’re in love with me.”
His voice hitched on the last word, which made Ladybug feel terrible for having to deny him again. There was just no way that perfect Adrien and immature Chat were possibly the same person.
“I’m sorry, Chat,” Ladybug said softly, hoping her delivery would be enough to ease the blow. “I’m in love with Adri—”
“Claws in,” he muttered, just as softly. “With me.”
Ladybug felt her mouth go slack, her jaw dropping in absolute disbelief. Chat and Adrien were the same person, and she had just been pouring her heart out to him about him!
She thought she might scream.
Or throw up.
She couldn’t even be concerned with the fact that Chat Noir had just revealed his identity to her; she was far too hung up on the fact that Chat was Adrien.
“I think you are, anyway?" Adrien asked, cheeks turning pink in embarrassment, as if he has gotten it all wrong.
Ladybug only nodded her head, knowing the words would just come out jumbled if she tried to say anything at all.
“You know how in love with you I am, Ladybug,” Adrien said with a confidence that she envied. “My feelings for you don’t change when I detransform.”
“B-but…” Ladybug trailed off, unsure where she was even going. She knew Chat loved Ladybug, but was it possible that Adrien loved Marinette too? Ladybug knew better than to ask the question aloud — knew better than to take the risk when it came to Hawkmoth and their identities — but she didn’t know how to quiet her heart.
She knew that if she didn’t ask now, that Marinette would spend the rest of her life wondering.
“You l-love Ladybug,” she said carefully, and Adrien nodded but continued listening without interrupting. “But what about — spots off — me?”
Marinette stood as tall as she could in her civilian form, daring Adrien to deny her. She knew she was the subpar version of herself, that it would make sense if Adrien loved Ladybug but not Marinette, but that didn’t mean she wanted to hear him say those words. She didn't want to feel that sting of rejection.
Adrien was quiet for a moment before breaking into a wide grin, one of those smiles that always made Marinette’s knees buckle.
Tonight was no different.
Adrien reached out and caught Marinette by the waist just as she began to wobble, his hands curling around the place just beneath her ribcage.
“What about you, Marinette?” Adrien asked, but it was clearly rhetorical because he didn’t give Marinette a moment to reply before continuing on. “You are beautiful, kind and funny. You are so talented and brave — even when you aren’t Ladybug. Why do you think I’ve been talking to you so much more lately?”
“I thought…I thought you wanted to be friends.”
Adrien shook his head, his grin never faltering. “We were always friends, Marinette.”
“And now?” Marinette tried not to be too hopeful, but she was afraid to breathe, hanging onto whatever words he might say next.
“Whatever you want, Princess,” Adrien promised, moving one of his hands up to cup Marinette’s face.
Marinette leaned into the touch, letting herself believe. Her eyes fell shut and she whispered, “everything. I want everything with you.”

Anyone interested in helping me to perfect an 18+, nsfw, dead dove friendly miraculous ladybug discord server? I’ve got the bare bones, just need some help with the details.
It was ordered as commission, but the customer deceived me, didn’t pay me for the second half and muted me, so PLEASE feel free to use this commission as you want, make prints, post it online (with credit), anything!
“Do you think there will be any akuma attacks in this weather?” Marinette asked, settling further into the couch. She burrowed beneath her favorite blanket and watched through the window as the sheets of water fell heavy from the sky, thick drops flying practically horizontally.
“I’m not sure Hawkmoth is afraid of thunderstorms,” Adrien said skeptically, sitting down beside her.
They had been roommates for a little over a month now, the universe aligning just right to force them together. It wasn’t as bad as Marinette had anticipated, her nerves settling more the more times she saw her roommate in all his humanness. It was hard to feel embarrassed when they shared a single bathroom.
“Well maybe he’s at home having a movie marathon too,” Marinette replied hopefully, turning back toward the tv and opening up their favorite streaming app. “Comedy or drama first?”
“Romance?” Adrien asked coolly, stretching his arm out wide in invitation for Marinette to scoot closer to him.
Okay, so her nerves might have started to dissipate when that started.
Marinette giggled and obliged, leaning into him easily. “Romance it is, then.”
The movie-couple had barely even met yet when there was a flash of light outside that was decidedly not lightning. It was deep purple and spreading out from one central point, more like a plasma globe than any sort of natural electricity.
Groaning, Adrien muttered, “I really hope Ladybug can handle this.”
Marinette nodded in agreement, knowing there was no way that Ladybug could handle it — not if she wasn’t able to get herself off the couch and away from Adrien long enough to transform into the superhero.
“You don’t think Cat Noir will be able to manage it?”
“Something tells me that he is afraid of thunderstorms, even if Hawkmoth isn’t,” Adrien said with a grimace.
Marinette sighed, wondering if the water would actually be enough to keep Cat Noir from fighting an akumatized villain.
“Oh, Chaton,” Marinette breathed, trying to will him into existence. The word felt more like a prayer than a chastisement, like if she chanted it, maybe he would appear right outside their window, ready to save the world.
Shifting in her seat, Marinette pulled back to look into Adrien’s eyes, needing to feed him an excuse to leave their movie marathon — to leave their apartment — and quickly.
“Adri—”
“W-what did you say?” Adrien asked with wide eyes, abruptly cutting her off.
Marinette cocked a brow, unsure of what Adrien meant. Hadn’t he just cut her off before she could actually speak? “Nothing, yet. You—”
“Did you call Cat Noir ‘Chaton’?”
Marinette swallowed hard. She hadn’t realized she muttered the word loud enough for him to hear.
“He is just a little kitty,” Marinette whispered slowly, hoping Adrien would simply agree and she could get back to her lie, but Adrien only let out a small moan.
Then he shivered.
Marinette’s head was spinning.
“Kitty?” She recognized the response she got from Adrien; it was the same exact way that Cat Noir responded when she called him that. “My…kitty?”
Adrien nodded slowly, his face breaking into a wide grin, one that made him look just like Cat Noir. How had she never noticed the similarities before?
“M’lady,” he breathed, clambering to his knees on the couch cushion and towering over Marinette. She lay back instantly and Adrien followed, chasing her until their lips were nearly touching. “My bugaboo, my princess. How did I not know it was you?”
Marinette let out a huff of laughter before glancing back out the window. She wanted to lay there and let Adrien devour her, let him completely consume her before rebuilding themselves around the truth of this realization, but they had a job to do.
“We should,” Marinette trailed off. She swallowed thickly, willing her hormones to settle down. She needed all of her energy — mind and body — to be focused on defeating Hawkmoth. “We should go save Paris first.”
Adrien dipped down and pressed a kiss to Marinette’s lips, tender and warm, a promise for later.

When Shane gets traded to Ottawa, Harris posts a pic of itty bitty toddler Shane in an Ottawa Centaurs jersey that he is absolutely drowning in (it‘s David‘s) cheesing like there is no tomorrow, next to a pic of current Shane in his new Centaurs jersey with the caption: welcome home, Shane.

Cat Noir was being reckless.
He knew that, but he couldn’t help it.
He needed to be chastised by Ladybug, needed to hear the emotion in her voice after nearly losing her to their latest villain. His heart was beating in his throat from the lingering fear, but he forced himself to move faster, to run further from the place they had just been battling.
“Cat!” Ladybug called, and Cat Noir could tell she was closing in fast. Her yo-yo allowed her to move more smoothly than his staff did, the long jumps slowing him down slightly. “Cat Noir!”
There was a tug on his leg and instantly Cat Noir was down, face planting into the surface of the roof beneath him, Ladybug’s yo-yo tied around his ankles, a small whoosh of air escaping him at the impact.
“What are you doing?” Ladybug asked, indignantly. “You were being rash during that battle, and now you’re running through Paris wrecking these buildings!”
Cat Noir looked around, shuddering at the sight of bits of brick and plaster scattered along the roofs, chunks of building that he had unknowingly been chipping away at with every pounce.
He rubbed at his wrist, a small ache forming from the way he had hit the roof, ignoring the beeping of his miraculous ring as it threatened to reveal his identity.
“Serves you right,” Ladybug muttered almost unkindly as she nodded down at his aching arm. “What is going on with you today?”
“You were being rash, Milady, I almost — the villain almost killed you!”
Cat Noir couldn’t stop the pinpricks behind his eyes, couldn’t stem the tears that pushed to the front, letting them sit there along his lash line as he willed her to understand his fear, his desperation.
“Oh, my kitty,” Ladybug crooned, kneeling beside him and pulling his hand into her lap. “I would never leave you like that.”
Cat Noir’s ring beeped again. He was almost out of time.
“But you can’t just fool around like that,” Ladybug continued, lowering her voice to just above a whisper. “I can’t lose you either.”
Cat Noir felt his cheeks pink at her admission, surprise coursing through him just as the final paw pad blinked on his ring. A hungry Plagg quickly landed beside him as Adrien’s blush was exposed to the warm Parisian air — and to Ladybug.
“Do — do you still feel that way?” Adrien asked, unease lacing the question. “Now that you know who I am?”
“Oh, Kitty Cat,” Marinette said, her surprise morphing into something much more akin to delight. “More than ever.”
She leaned in close, their noses nearly touching. Adrien could feel her breath against his lips, the greatest display of life he could have hoped for; there was no doubting that she was alive and well, that the akumatized villain hadn’t killed her after all.
“Tikki, spots off,” Ladybug commanded, and there — right there in Adrien’s lap — was Marinette Dupain-Cheng, her own cheeks flushed a perfect shade of pink.
Adrien grinned, unable to stop himself from closing the gap between them entirely. He should have known that Ladybug and Marinette were one in the same, with their equally altruistic dispositions, with their beautiful blue eyes and contagious laughter.
He should have known that Marinette was his lady.
Adrien kissed her slowly, just wanting to savor her, to show her how much he has always wanted to do exactly that.
“My lady,” Adrien sighed, giving her one more chaste kiss before pulling back and admiring her.

I know that Heated Rivalry is one of those pieces of media where COVID never happens but what if it did? Imagine the lockdown shenanigans.
Shane and Ilya are obviously hunkering down at the cottage together. There's no hockey, but they don't know for how long, so they're still training all the time. They're doing interviews and having to make it look like they're in completely different places. Ilya has to keep being reminded that he's supposed to still be back in Ottawa.
Ilya's teammates keep asking if they can be in a lockdown bubble together and he's gotta be like "No, can't do that. I'm not taking any chances." But now they're worried because he hasn't seen or been around another human being in months and they've noticed that even before lockdown he made more jokes about killing himself than the average person, so they're stressed to their eyeballs about his mental health.
Meanwhile Ilya's living the kind of domestic fantasy with his man that he didn't think they were going to get until retirement. For the first time ever most days he can truly pretend that he and Shane are the only people in the world. Sometimes David and Yuna come over for dinner because they are also isolating at their cottage. But most of the time it's just endless hours of just the two of them and neither of them could be happier. Their biggest decision every day is when and where to fuck. Some people are getting into sourdough – Shane and Ilya have committed to learning one new sexual position every day.
I just think that lockdown would have been the ideal codependent situation for Hollanov.

Here's some fun Teen Titans redesigns I did for the heck of it. I'm still working on Blackfire, and I am hoping to get around to some of the others. I know the roster of characters I have right now doesn't make any particular type of sense. But I just started drawing the characters that I like to draw and let it grow from there :)
