Hey y'all! The girls are 5+ months old and I still can't believe how fast everything is going...they are growing up too fast!!!!! Gavin & I just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary and we loved having our little monsters there celebrating with us. They are rolling over both ways now and chatting up a storm. They love all the food they've tried except oatmeal. We are so so blessed to be their parents and have such lovey, snuggle bugs.

Today we had green beans...and they loved them! I wasn't too sure how they would go since they aren't as sweet as the squash but the girls were totally down with the new flavors.

The girls tried butternut squash today! Arden Marie (left) loved it and couldn't get enough. Maura wasn't so sure about it at first, but she came around and gobbled it up after a little while. Neither of them really cared for oatmeal when we've tried it, so I'm glad to know they like their veggies so far!

The girls had their first Easter Egg hunt and brunch today! They were so excited this week about it that we celebrated by wearing bunny ears around the house :)

16 weeks in & 16 weeks out The girls are growing so fast, it's hard to keep up with everything!! They are rolling belly to back & sitting up with a little assistance. They love laying on the floor and playing with their play may toys! We go to see our doctor next week for 4 month shots (no fun!!) and get weighed/measured. Hopefully we get the green light to start oatmeal cereal and fruit/veggie purées. The girls are still getting two bottles daily of the high calorie preemie formula, but they just don't tolerate it very well- LOTS of spit up- so hopefully we can back down to one (or none) when we start foods. They are sleeping well- 9/10pm to 5/7am most nights- and Gavin & I are very grateful for the sleep. Overall, we are all in a good routine. Xo Susan

I CANNOT believe my little babes are already 3 months old!! Where is the time going??!? It’s seems like just yesterday I was waddling around all huge & pregnant. Now my girls are no longer tiny newborns but actual infants. They are alert, curious, responsive to us (holy cow those smiles & coos are the cutest thing EVER!) and sleeping really well. Like, 5-8 hours at night! Whoo!! We are having so much fun with them & it’s so hard to remember what life was like before they were here 3 short months ago. We’re so so blessed!
