Cupid 🔧

Callaway was a human astronaut in an advanced world of extraterrestrial contact. He worked mostly with aliens on his crew, including his partner, Sol. Also on the ship was a system known as the Constellations’ Universal Positional and Itemization Droid, or CUPID. It inhabited a stationary form in the ship, and was a tool the crew used for research.
One day, the ship was boarded and attacked. Every member was killed where they stood, and Callaway’s blood seeped into the CUPID system.
Many years in the future, a lost traveler known only as Captain boarded the abandoned ship. As she turned on the power, CUPID booted up, but it wasn’t the same droid as before. Callaway’s consciousness had integrated into the robotic body. His memories now distant and Callaway a disconnected being, he feels more comfortable going by Cupid with his new crew— Captain, Cami, and Tekre. (My friends’ adorable OCs, they can be seen in the last drawing!)
Cupid has three forms— 1. A ghost of Callaway. In this form, he cannot touch anything, but he can float around; 2. A stationary robot. This was the CUPID’s base, which is set in the middle of a circular table and is only able to spin and move its arms; 3. A short mobile droid. Cupid was able to fix up a mechanics bot that he can now possess to move around the ship AND interact with objects.
Cupid acts as the cook and engineer of the ship. He is stern, but cares very deeply about his crew.
