Perhaps things were different where Cloud came from. Perhaps in his home world, the dead would indeed find a way to remind them that they were happy for the ones they had left behind. But it did not work that way in Spira. In Spira, once you died one of two things would happen to your spirit. If you were lucky enough to be Sent by a summoner, then the Farplane would be waiting for you. But, if there were no Sending and you had not accepted death in life, then your spirit would twist and change into something filled with anger and hate. Fortunately for Lulu, Chappu had found his way to the Farplane and so she could take comfort knowing that at least some part of him was at peace.
Realising she had been lost to her own thoughts, a soft sound emitted from her throat at the mention of the word ālionā. āHmm, yes. I know that Leon has an affection for the beast, but is he really known as the lion to more than just a few?ā Of course, she could ask Leon this herself when he returned, but doing so would defeat the purpose of her spending time with Cloud.
Cloud let out a sharp laugh at her question, and couldn't help but smile as he made eye contact once again and his body jerked a bit more upright in his chair. His hand lifted up to brush his mouth with the back of his fist, and his smile shifted to more of a smirk. "I meant it sarcastically... His name being LEONhart, the whole Griever thing, the 'mane' of hair... When I realized how much it annoyed him, it became a bit of a joke between us.."
He shook his head and chuckled softly. "Well, he doesn't see it as much of a joke, I suppose."
