"Yusuke!" His name was spoken in such a high pitch of surprise that it almost sounded like a squeak, and Selphie lit up immediately as she gently took the fluffy chick from him. "You actually found one!? How? Where!?"

She didn't wait for any answers to those questions, however, leaning up to press a very grateful kiss to his lips. "Thank you! One step closer to my dream of havin' a chocobo farm!" Selphie then turned her attention to the chick with a few affectionate pets to its head. "And you are gonna need a very noble yet ferocious name, aren't you?"

three facts

I'm a natural redhead and pale as a ghost, which makes living in the southern US very hard in the summertime. The sun and I do not get along, so I stay inside pretty much as often as possible.

Back when I used to cosplay, Selphie was (obviously) one of the ones I cosplayed the most, although I only took her to two cons. My Strange Vision prop has long since been lost, but I still have her Flail in my closet!

I played violin from 4th grade until I graduated high school. Unfortunately, it's probably now been longer than that since I even touched my violin and I would be way out of practice if I tried.

roleplay experience

how long: Ages. I started when I was in college around 2011 or so, I believe? Selphie has been my main muse for 15 years now!

platforms you've used: Now it's mostly Discord with a little Tumblr thrown in there. I started on Twitter and lasted a couple years there before I came over here. Best decision I made tbh.

best experience: Oh man, back like... 10ish years ago maybe? The FFVIII RP community was SO big and lively, it was amazing! Every time someone wanted to jump in, they were welcomed with open arms, and that was back when I even managed to somehow organize a Garden Festival week that so many people participated in. It made my little Selphie heart so happy to actually make it somewhat of a reality.

muse preferences

female or male: Almost exclusively female, although I don't mind writing for male characters, either. I've also joked that my Tumblr muse choices are just three women to torment Laguna with lol.

fluff, angst, smut: Yes. Give me all of it.

plots or memes: Both are good, although I do love a good plot! Then again, sometimes memes can lead to amazing threads too, so it's honestly a toss-up.

long or short replies: Either one is great, although I can get a bit wordy sometimes so I tend to go longer. Short replies are usually a bit easier for me to do reliably, though.

best time to write: If I get a chance to write, it's usually in the late evening. Work and my toddler keep me busy the rest of the day.

are you like your muse(s): Selphie is half an inch taller than me, but otherwise she's much peppier and more outgoing than I am. Although I'd like to think we both have a positive outlook that we try to spread to others to make them happy.
