Lol when I was 13 in 2007, my sister was at summer camp all summer in Wisconsin but I was at home. I had to swim. Swimming was like the most important thing and my whole life. But idk that summer my parents decided to go visit my uncle in China, and they went to Shanghai and Beijing for 2.5 weeks and left me at home. Alone, essentially. Other parents were scheduled to pick me up and drop me back home for swimming twice a day. (So 4 rides per day). But dude I was alone. Like full alone. In a 5 bed 3.5 bath lmao. And yeah I was 13 and I thought I could drive one mile but I had never driven before and I crashed on our property.

My parents were so mad at me for that. But really. Fucking none of that was my fault. I was 13. Idek

My husband is actually really special. You don't think about it but people that work in corrections are actually EMTs. I mean people die in prison all the time. And my husband is an EMT like he really is. He's actually super fucking good at emergencies, like The Best.

I like that he's working security at a grocery store and getting paid the right amount for his work history. If somebody ever wanted to shoot up the store, well they wouldn't be able to if he was there. I know he could get a gun out of anyone's hand. Literally a dude twice his size wouldn't stand a chance. And he's quick too. He's quick like a cat it's crazy.

I know I'm not the best at makeup. I basically only do basic makeup, just to enhance my natural features. I'm also not very good at hair lol but I don't really care, my color always looks great. But what I am good at..... is nails. I've always been really good at nails.

I think Janet is actually my favorite and the one I relate to the most.

I think Nia is one of those west coast people with a fucking screw loose. She gives me the ick. She plays Mrs. Perfect but like...... no mr and mrs perfect would put all four of their children in TV advertisements. Idk she makes me so uncomfortable. Like when she was excited to be a miss usa judge and said that pageants are a really positive and uplifting environment like. You literally sound insane, can you not hear it?

You could see mount hood from the rose garden yesterday but it looked different than normal. Like maybe it snowed a bunch up top. It is so fucking pretty and breathtaking here

I think it would be really good if for the next 7 months while I finish up school, I really just focus on finding a good job with a good portland company that I actually want to work for. I think that should totally totally be doable in 7 months. And there are legit sooooooo many good and normal companies here. I mean come on erin we have Nike Adidas Columbia Keen Leatherman Fred Meyer Daimler Dave's Killer Bread.... The Standard Insurance, Tektronix Intel Puppet Labs I mean honestly it really feels like there are more options than Chicago. Plus all the Portland exclusive companies because oregon is like it's own country..... for example new seasons lol. Plus I just found out pizza schmizza has fully adopted the franchise model, never would have guessed that lmao. Anyway I want to work somewhere that employs at least 100 people lol. No more of these small companies Erin just be normal.

Also I think it'd be fun to work for like a regional company. You wouldn't believe some of the business calls I overhear walking down the street or on the max. Jet fuel orders to whitefish montana, getting supplies up to the middle of nowhere Alberta. Can you imagine the agricultural business just between Portland and Boise alone because I for one cannot

All these people here want to be so mad at the portland police. You guys....... they don't respond to anything because YOU DEFUNDED THEM. IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT. YOU DID THIS.

Oh I shared that because I kind of realized in class tonight, way more people like, remember me or recognize me than I thought. I don't really look at my classmates. I could not pull their faces out of a crowd. But they could pull mine out.

It's something the portland state guy at my job actually pointed out to me. I like...... don't notice anyone else but they all notice me.

I know people think it is such a blessing to be tall. I've been told that my whole life. But the grass is always greener people. I still wish I was 5'5". People remember you when you're tall, and it's nice to just be anonymous.
