I firmly believe that one of Joker's greatest weakness should be his irresistible urge to do clown shit. Batman should be able to reach into his belt for a banana peel and throw it in Joker's path knowing he will be COMPELLED to slip and fall on it.

If you toss him a deflated balloon he will have to stop what he's doing to blow it up and make a balloon animal. If he is holding something and you throw two more things of similar size and shape he will be compelled to juggle them (be careful if that thing is a weapon though). the easiest way to trap him is to make falling into the trap funny. He has no control over this and will often grit his teeth and be very annoyed but still he HAS to do the bit. His only solace is that the bit has to be funny and he's forcing Batman to come up with bits for him as a comedy partner.

soulmate aus are kinda weird to me because I really can't imagine it being tragic or horrific or even dwelling on soulmate stories where their bonds break or it doesn't work out and they're like sick forever or die. like you have this world where Souls are a real thing, and your Soul is Divinely entangled with this other Soul. it's like a law of the universe like this is your soulmate there is nothing either of you can do to stop being a perfect fit for each other one way or another. idk I just have a hard time imagining it not "working out" in the end
