It seems as though spring may have finally sprung around these parts, which means it's time for us to come out of hibernation. A typical winter for us is spent warm at home and not careening down icy roads. We couldn't be happier to awake from our slumber and make the trek to the lovely Parkindale Hall in Albert County, New Brunswick. Our appearance there on May 13th will not only see us perform a set of mostly new, original songs but we will also be reviving our tribute to the one and only Neil Young. We've paid tribute to Neil before and are very pleased to be doing it again. Most of our favourite songs are his songs and they are super fun to play.Â
Even though this past winter was a quiet one for us, that doesn't mean we weren't productive. We made a couple trips to the Old Confidence Lodge in Riverport, Nova Scotia to record our fifth album. We worked our butts off trying to make this album something we'll love and, therefore, something you'll love. We've been working with some special guests to put the finishing touches on it. Everyone has now finished adding those touches. It mixing time for us, which puts us one step closer to releasing this album. It's sounding better every day. We can't wait for you all to hear it. Soon.
