I’m pretty sure I forgot some but this is all for now 😋

I’m still struggling with drawing curly hair, can you tell? I also realized I tend to try and give them as many different clothes i can because they actually wear different stuff (a rare thing for a show to have frequent wardrobe change)

but drawing all these patterns willingly? God, sometimes I get the feeling I hate myself...

The Electric Mayhem was on a road trip, briefly stopping by gas stations for food/ snacks and to go to the toilet.

Zoot and Lips where waiting in the car to keep watch, until there was suddenly a flash beside Lips. Zoot had taken a photo. He shook it out and looked at it, then looked up at his lover and nodded. “That's a keeper”

"Yea~?" Lips smiles at that as he looks over to Zoot holding the Polaroid up, squinting at it. The photo shows Lips mid-smile, sunlight catching his beard and blonde hair perfectly. Zoot stares a beat too long—then slowly nods again.

He tucks the photo carefully into his shirt pocket over his heart like it's something sacred.

"Can I see~?"

"No."

Lips smirks at that. "Hey now, lemme see~"

Zoot pulls the photo back quickly, shielding it with his hand like a kid hiding candy.

He shakes his head firmly and makes a zipping motion over his lips... but there's a tiny smile tugging at the corner of his mouth, the kind that says he’s enjoying this way too much.

"You're Cheeky~"

Lips chuckles gently and starts poking at Zoot's sides with one finger, making him jolt at the first poke, shoulders hunching. He’s ticklish—terribly—and Lips knows it. With a yelp that sounds suspiciously more like a saxophone than muppet noise, he twists away, clutching the photo to his chest.

"Mine!"

He scrambles across the seat toward the other door—not running, but moving fast for someone usually so spacey—still shaking with silent giggles.

"Wha- hahey~!" Lips laughs when Zoot practically crawls over his lap to get into the middle row for safety. "whahat are you dohoing~?"

Zoot tumbles forwards, legs flailing slightly as he tries to wedge himself between the bucket seats. The photo is still clutched in one hand like a lifeline.

He peeks over his shoulder at Lips with a mischievous smile—rare for Zoot, who’s usually half-asleep or lost in thought. Then—he does something unexpected: he sticks his tongue out right in the direction of Lips’ face.

A playful tease.

"You're silly, you know that~?" Lips laughs out after his lover's rough landing, moving onto the middle row too but with much more grace.

"Yea~" Zoot chuckles, still catching his breath.

His face is flushed—partly from laughter, partly from the sudden scramble. He wipes a tiny tear from the corner of his eye under the glasses and finally sits up properly.

Without warning, he slowly holds out the photo again—not handing it over yet, just showing the trump player that beautiful golden shot of him smiling in sunlight from a few moments ago. "Here...~"

"Why thank you, was that so hard~?" Lips smiles when he's finally allowed to look at the photo, before nodding in approval and then giving it back. "Nice one, definitely a keeper~"

Zoot takes the photo back with quiet pride, like a painter admiring his own masterpiece. He tucks it away again—this time into the side pocket of his saxophone case, where it’ll be safe forever.

Lips smiles at that as he watches him, before suddenly leaning down and pressing a soft kiss to Zoot's cheek, stunning the sax player.

He chuckles at the flustered and surprised expression, before starting to tickle him again just because.

Zoot gasps—completely unprepared for the second round of tickles. He collapses sideways, kicking and squirming like a flipped turtle, his saxophone case sliding onto the floor with a soft thud behind him.

"NahAHAHA—LIPS~!"

He’s laughing now—full-on belly laughs—and tries to shield himself with one arm while batting weakly at the others hands.

Lips laughs too as he sneaks in pokes here and there wherever he can reach, making sure not to get kicked in the process.

"P-PLEASE- PLEHESE, I CAHAHAN'T~!!"

Zoot wheezes, twisting and turning like a worm on a hook. He’s helpless—completely at Lips’ mercy—and he knows it.

"you're so squirmy whenever I tickle ya~"

One particularly precise poke in between Zoot's ribs makes him aqueak before sending him into silent, shaking laughter, face scrunching up.

"Ohoh- careful, don't go fainting on me~" Lips stop tickling Zoot as he sit down beside his lover, taking his hat to fan air at the poor muppet.

He's sprawled out, breathing hard, cheeks pink. He blinks up at the ceiling like he’s just woken from a dream. When Lips fans him with his hat—Zoot’s favorite hat—the old musician cracks one eye open.

Slowly, he reaches up and takes the hat back… then plops it gently on Lip's head instead.

Lips hums happily and scoot closer, putting the hat more firmly on his own head before smilling down at the sax player. "Are you okay~?"

"Yea... a little whinded... but okay...~" Zoot hums back gently, nuzzling slightly into Lip's shoulder. His breathing is still heavy and his face is still red.

One hand rises lazily to pat the hat on the trumpet players head. A thank you without words. Then he closes his eyes completely—half-asleep in that cozy post-giggle haze.

"Good, wouldn't want to hurt you after all~"

Lips smiles brightly and pets his lovers head too, before the van doors suddenly open as the others return with food and snacks.

They pause when they see Zoot curled up against Lips like a sleepy cat, hat on the blonde's head. Teeth raises an eyebrow but says nothing—he just gives a knowing grin.
