It was a huge demand and it was constant and jittery and anxious and it had me in a hurry always searching around for it.

Approval. Satisfaction.

Oh boy, these things were like two leashes, one around my neck and the other around my hands. You know, when you're too invested in someone and you completely lose yourself in trying to get their approval and wanting, yearning for them to want to display you to everyone else and like you as much as you like them. Infatuation. Oh boy, what that does to not only you but the relationship. -insert sarcastically toned laughter-

Yellow.

No, I do not mean that one Coldplay song from the mid 2000's or whatever. Though the lyrics are quite lovely... Anyway, not the point. The point, yes- the point. Yellow. Yellow like the fuzzy coat on every second stripe of a bumblebee, yellow warm like the sunflowers that dance in the breeze in a large field or alone (it does not matter, they shine and they make you smile regardless), the golden shower of sunlight that comes in spring and becomes stronger in summer days.

Yellow is such a lovely tone.
