“I had a crappy guidance counselor.”

“what’s a guidance counselor?” mimmi asked her.

“That I am.  Or partly so now, after this horrid place pulled it’s magic on me.  Still have wings but alas, no fire or scales.”

“that really sucks. i have no idea how i would feel if i could no longer turn back into a mermaid.”

“Truly? Mind if I ask what your time was like before this?”

“well it was much different. men held most responsibilities, while most women stayed home. people were prejudice about each other because of the color of their skill. there weren’t technologies like this.”

“I think anything dealing with performing is good. I’m glad you are still performing. You are one of the best.”

“i’m not as good as you were though.”

Kitty chuckled. “Not too severely, no. There are a couple girls at my job that are close though.” She told him. “I guess I’m adjusting. It feels harder to fit in here than Lima though.”

“well that makes sense. everyone in lima knew you were a force not to mess with, but the people here are still too naive about how much of a badass you are.”

“You would have to finish your senior year, although some colleges do accept G.E.D’s, so you could look into that. What do you want to major in?”

“i don’t know. i just don’t want to deal with high school.”

“You are way too sweet.” Sandy smiled at him. “Thank you though. You don’t have to eat it if it’s gross.”

“i highly doubt it is gross sandy.” danny said with a bright smile.
