old blog

I’ll be honest, this blog, this comic, started as an impulse. An impulse with nothing really planned. It was just...there. And, the more I thought about it, and the older I got, the more I realized that...I don’t like how this is going. So then, I slowed in updates, and eventually went fully on halt, because I didn’t know what to do. All this time, what to do with this blog has been in the back of my mind. I thought about revamping the story, deleting all the old comic pages to start completely over. I thought about just continuing, because it might not be worth starting over. But...I think, now, I’ve decided. I’m done with this blog, I think. I lost the passion to continue, and, instead of constantly leading myself on, thinking, ‘I’ll continue this, I just need more time to think,’ I think it will be better to just stop. There’s no point in me trying to grasp at straws when I lack any motivation to continue. As much fun as at once had here, I don’t enjoy it anymore. I’m lucky this happened early on though, as I wouldn’t be able to do this had I gotten farther in, because I’d feel real bad. Not to say that I don’t feel a little bad doing this already. I bit off more than I could chew with this. So, anyway, I’m canceling this comic. BUT, there will still be more of Ribby, just on a different, more manageable blog. What does this mean? It means that this blog will be getting archived, or possibly deleted, I’m not sure yet. Either way, ribbon-flowey will become the new URL of rp-ribbon-flowey, as that will be the full blog now. That blog is just a normal RP/Ask blog, with simple stills to answer asks with. Or, if I feel like it, maybe doodles too, depending on the question. I will say, the Ribby here is not quite the same as the other. The other has gotten...quite a bit more development, haha. So, that’s everything, I believe. The new blog is here, though it isn’t exactly new, I’ve had it for a bit, hence the development. I’ll definitely keep the blog on here for a bit, so feel free to ask questions here.

((So, this blog’s first anniversary was on the 9th, but I forgot. ^^’ Well, here is to another year I suppose!))

Anyway, once I get done with reworking everything, I’ll try to get into a normal schedule of updates. Thank you all for being so patient, and I am hoping that updates will return soon!))

((So, its been awhile since the last actual update to the comic. Basically, I’ve been busy with fixing up the old pages. Why? Well, some dialogue needs to be edited a bit, backgrounds need to be fixed up, etc etc. Though the biggest change is that I’m removing the color-loss depending on emotion. There is a couple of other changes I need to make, though none are as drastic as the color-loss. So once all of that is fixed up, updates will continue normally. I’m not quite sure if I’ll have a consistent schedule or not, so it might remain random. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this, and ribbon-flowey will continue soon!))
