1) DON’T use your search bar to find and open the Run app

2) DON’T type in services.msc

3) DON’T find Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Services and right-click to get a dropdown menu, and don’t select ‘properties’

4) if you happen to click properties, DON’T use the startup type dropdown to locate the option to disable the program. be sure you DON’T click apply to finalize that change. 

5) DO NOT do the same thing in order to also disable Adobe Genuine Software Monitor 

if you do all of these things, this WILL disable adobe’s ability to monitor the software, and you will be forced to continue using the same older software that you already paid for instead of having to sign up for a newer, shittier version and pay more for it. so if you have lots of cash to spare and are cool with putting it the pockets of racketeering capitalists, definitely don’t do any of these things.

Arquins

Homo Hydritis

General info

Primarily aquatic. 10% of the population live on land

Live in regions of oceans with manatees

Dogs are to us as manatees are to them

No government, yet still very peaceful

Believe in their own religion, [unnamed]

Thought to be extinct by humans, however they are very much thriving

Generally tend to be more herbivorous

Very superstitious

No genders; all specimens have all of both gendered systems

They speak Quillish, and write in their alphabet called Quin Pen (altered version of pig pen)

Aquatic forms

The arquin have two aquatic forms: partial and full.

Depending on which region they were raised or reside in, they may use one more than the other.

Hybrids with other species can only use partial.

In both forms, they have:

Gills on sides of neck, cheeks, torso

Webbed fingers

Skin fades into scales at bottom of chest

Forearm fades into and out of scales

Fins behind ears

Slightly growing pupils

Partial form:

Their partial form is the most common one used.

This form is bipedal: it has two separate legs

They have fins on the sides of their forearms

Their thighs fade into scales, and fade out of them at the ankles

Webbed toes

Fins on back of calves as well

Slightly lighter/brighter skin, possibly tinted an ‘unnatural’ color (blue, green, etc.)

Small, luminous patches of skin; tinted the same color as the skin; location depends on individual

Slightly pointed fangs

Patches mentioned are less defined characters of their alphabet, Quin Pen (altered version of pig pen)

Full form:

Their full form has a mermaid-like/fish-like tail, their torso fading into scales

This form is only able to be accessed by full blood Arquins

The luminous patches’ characters are more defined, and glow a little brighter

Their fangs are a little more prominent
