An au where Toni plays guitar and wrote ‘you shine’ for cheryl (after their heart to heart at Pop’s), and jughead finds her quietly singing/playing it through tears beside Cheryls hospital bed (after she almost drowned in sweetwater river) and it looks like Cheryls dead/about to be dead, and at the last moment (when Tonis sobbing her heart out and still trying to finish the song) Cheryl reaches for her hand and whispers, “because you’re mine.. oh, how you shine, tee tee”
